Will Ron Paul finally do the inevitable and drop out?

So much for the "Ron Paul Revolution," uninformed voters. Although, give Paul credit for his impressive 2nd place finish tonight in Montana. He must have really convinced both of those voters. I'm sure Ron Paul appreciates all of the money, he'll use it well in his Texas Congressional bid for re-election this year. "Der, der, Dr. Paul!" He sucks and so do his supporters. Sure, Ron Paul for Congress '08. He'll easily win that race. Not over, no. Over for Paul, yes. Ron Paul supporters can easily vote thumbs down on an internet website. What can they obviously not do? Vote.

  1. Easy cowboy. The primaries aren't over yet are they? Edit: Like I said, easy sailor. We don't need a president to mandate a revolution. We need a revolutionist to do that....der, der, DUH.
  2. He continues to say as long as he has money and ardent supporters, he'll stay in. He's picked up 2 delegates tonight from West Virginia and has a good shot of picking up more in Alaska where he's the only candidate with 2 offices. 29 delegates up for grabs there.
  3. Most of his supporters don't like the government, so they probably aren't registered to vote anyway. Idiots.
  4. Ron Paul will continue in this race, if only to get his message out to the public. It's hard to be heard when the government is afraid of you, and the media, which is controlled by "corporate interest", put you in the shadows of the other candidates. America needs someone who will put the power back into the people hands where it belongs. Why does the government feel that people don't know what's best for them? The government wants to dictate every move a person makes, and the proof in the the number of laws that get passed every year. Read this article. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,113861,00.html This country is so close to communism and people don't even realize it. One way to recognize it is gun control. The government wants to take away the peoples right to bear arms in the name of "safety". "One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms." - Constitutional scholar and Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840. Another thing people need to recognize is the tabs that the government is keeping on them. Every time you use a credit or debit card the government knows where you are, but they can't find the 11million+ illegal immigrants that are in the United States. One thing I don't understand is how Hillary Clinton has gotten so many votes when 90% of the people in the middle east are Muslims. How can a woman President talk to people who think of women as a sub-specie? I think this would be problematic for the U.S.. People need to be educated on the issues that are going on in America before they vote for someone based on their sex or nationality. But this is almost impossible when the government don't want the people to hear the truth. Ron Paul speaks the truth, and that scares the government.
  5. Of course not! How dare you say such a thing about His Excellency President for Life Field Marshal Al Hajj Dr. Ron Paul Victoria Cross, Distinguished Service Order, Military Cross, Lord of the Beasts on the Earth and the Fish in the Sea, Liberator of the Oppressed in the World in General and America in Particular!
  6. Sorry, we drones without a thought in our minds are pumping money into his candidacy, which is why he's been out-raising all the Republican candidates the past two quarters. The "Revolution" will continue, regardless of Ron Paul being active. He's managed to brainwash we vulnerable young folk into thinking we should adhere to what we claim to live by, the Constitution. It really is a dark day for America's youth, isn't it? The thought of having Congress formally declare wars rather than "interventions" ordered by the Executive Branch of Gov't. The thought of tackling corruption, the very thought of SAVING this country from ruin is terrible. We uninformed citizens are foolishly being proactive. We foolishly buy into the idea we can make America strong again, without having to go around dominating the world as an Empire always does, though we're a new type of Empire. Too spooky of a word, I must be buying into a Conspiracy Theory, that's it! It's a Conspiracy because I threw out a word that makes us shiver in fear! Reality check buddy. Either way, Ron Paul's legacy is sealed. Doesn't matter if he's not perfect (which he isn't), doesn't matter if you all manage to smear him and write his supporters off as loonies. There are a lot of people my age (21,impressionable though, remember?) that are inspired there is still a good politician in existence (not perfect, but better than any I've ever seen). We would like to return to the fundamentals. America has been sliding downhill for some time. It is largely a result of our own actions. As Abraham Lincoln said (not verbatim): "The only way America can be destroyed is from within." You look around right now. This is Vietnam fever part 2. My generation gets to go through a new type of experience in regards to an America in crisis (1960s,mainly 70s though). Inflation, dollar collapse (stores in New York are now accepting Euro as a currency, what's that tell you ?), an incredibly large 9-10 if not more trillion $ debt, TWO wars without end, incredibly high oil prices (for America). This time the stakes are much higher. We've got to contend with India and China. Good luck. We've exported most of our Industry (how can we fight a huge war if we get in one?As we did in WWII?). This era is the beginning of a decline of American influence. More countries are turning to China, we borrow from China anyway. I mean, if you think the fact we're concerned about these problems and our desire to fix them is in itself a problem, aren't you the Patriot of the Day? Plenty of reasons to turn to what is now considered such a fanatic doctrine, which is sadly the doctrine that made us strong to begin with. Perhaps because we abandoned our adherence to the Constitution many of these problems are present!? BTW, he also finished 2nd in Maine (big deal, right?), 2nd in Nevada; and he almost certainly finished 1st in my state, Louisiana, ironically they changed the rules at the very last second before our caucuses, seems as though it wasn't fair Ron Paul was leading by far in my state. Point being, he's doing well in a few other states. I do wonder though, what is your level of education? A degree in...? Please email me, I'd love to know. Otherwise, why don't you spill out the reasons we "suck" as does Ron Paul. I'd really love to know. Why don't you tilt your mind lid up a little bit? Cheers! PS-If you grew up in Vietnam Fever Part 1, maybe my Generation won't sell out on the great ideas we have today when we get old! I've learned my lesson based on what the Vietnam generation has done, they had great ideas; and they betrayed them all once they got in power, they became a new Establishment. My generation may just not drop the ball as they did. There may yet be hope for America. Oh, and I know the Spamming gets annoying, the Ron Paul supporters that repeat the same thing with no personalization to it, yeah...boring and annoying after time, they over-do it. Sorry. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080206/us_nm/newyork_euros_dc
  7. We supporters may suck, but we know what we like. HINT: It isn't more and bigger government. Why are you such a fan of big government? Are you on the payroll?
