Ron Paul Revolution?

Could it happen? Could college voters revolt against the US Government if Ron Paul is not elected? College voters are up ONE MILLION this election year, Ron Paul is speaking on what we all want and need. Coincidence? I don't think so. Ron Paul has spoken for us all, if he is not elected, do we take a stand? Will we? I think we should. "I look forward to my tire iron meeting their faces on the battlefield." - You must be really proud of that saying because you say it every time you post on here to Ron Paul supporters. Let's get a little more creative. Also, I said nothing about a violent revolution. A revolution: the meaning of a state and society turning upside down. I never mentioned violence, you did.

  1. ron paul sucks
  2. How are you going to revolt? Not go to class? What? I hope that you continue to fight for your beliefs, but you'll find that you have to do it in a very calculated, systematic way, just as Clinton, McCain, and others have done. Just keep talking to others, and don't stop between elections. Eventually, some of the ideas you are for might become reality. Some won't, but at least there will be some change for the better through trying. However, "revolting" won't do it, unless you have more people and more weapons than the government has, and you don't. I was around during the "revolting" of the 60's and the Vietnam War, so was Paul. What has he been doing since then? He got himself elected to office. He ran for President. He has stayed in the game. That's all anyone can do. Maybe you need to run for office too. Start out with volunteering one some city or county project, get to know other volunteers. Then someday run for city council or something like that. Obama says he used to be involved in some sort of inner city something or another. I forget what, but I recall it seemed to be quite a worthy cause. So, do what he did. Check into Paul's past, along with Obama's and Clinton's, and McCains. You'll see that they didn't "revolt", but that they did a ton of volunteer work.
  3. college voters will not revolt they will vote for obama
  4. Good luck with that.
  5. Let bygones be bygones.
  6. No, it couldn't happen. Sorry.
  7. I graduated Spring 07 and I voted for Ron Paul but my family in other states couldn't because they were registered democrats. :(
  8. This was old news when "Kent State" happened.
  9. You have the vote now if you are over 18. Get out and VOTE for Ron Paul in the primaries. Volonteer and get your friends to volonteer in your area to work on his campaign informing people as to what Ron Paul stands for and that he alone of all the candidates puts the United States and her people first. Those under 18 can help as well. Ron Paul needs the million college students to do what the Media refuses to do--to get his message across to the people of the United States. The special interest groups and lobbyists will not help fund Ron Paul as they do Senators McCain, Clinton and Obama because he is independent of them so he needs the help of every American who cares about the United States and her future. Become active, work, campaign, learn. Every voter has the power to change America and to make life better but only if the voter is active and plays his/her part in the democratic process. Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535” on Capitol Hill.
  10. I think you will find that while his support may be higher amongst college-aged voters, most in that demographic don't support him. Good luck in your "revolution."
  11. agree with Choroidp..., while most of Ron Paul's supporters are college students, most college students do not support Ron Paul. I live in the Bay Area and I know zero - most of their lot are supporting Obama. Personally, I think you are clinging to a rapidly fading false hope. And personally, if the college bound Paul lemmings are planning on staging a violent revolt, I look forward to my tire iron meeting their faces on the battlefield.
  12. Why would college students support a whacko like Ron Paul,? Guys like him would eliminate any tax support for public universities sending tuition much higher, which has risen so much more than inflation, a hidden tax on the poor that's benefited the rich for many years.
