Why is Barack Obama spreading lies about Senator Clinton and her campaign staff?

Barack Obama and his campaign staffers are lying when they blame Senator Clinton for the photography showing Senator Obama dressed as a Muslim elder on his US government paid trip to Kenya in 2006. The photograph appeared in a large number of African papers at the time and appeared in the National Enquirer (the paper has reporters who actually dig for stories) before the Drudge Report. Senator Clinton and her staff had nothing to do with the photograph being re-issued. Politicians know that the majority of people can't watch all of the news or check on all of their claims, so they count on reducing votes for their opponents by throwing out slurs and slander, rumors and innuendos, about the other side in an attempt to gain more votes for themselves.
