Which issues should Obama focus on in order to win the Democratic nomination for President?
I believe he should maintain a focus on unfair trade agreements, the war in Iraq, universal healthcare, civil liberties, and a fair tax code.Barack Obama has gained the support of former Edwards supporters such as myself. If he adheres to the issue agenda which I briefly described,he will win the Democratic nomination for President and the general election race for President. I voted for Barack Obama, and I ask Kucinich supporters and Edwards supporters to do likewise.

- I think that hillary's support for small interest groups and inability to muster respect in the muslim world are the most important
- social security, health care, national deficit, foreign policy and the war, stay strong with his campaign for change
- I think he needs to focus on the 'War on Terror'. Just watch the news__ the plan is a jihad on America. The Democrates seem to have their head in the sand when it comes to the War. Obama and Hillary are only interested in getting elected - our security is last on the list. What good is a good economy if we are 'dead'? People better wake up! This war is real! How many 9/11's do we have to go through to 'get it'?
- The differences between him and Hillary on health care, education, and the war should be enough.
- So you believe he will get all the troops out of Iraq in two years, Completely halt lobbyists which have had 100 plus years of dealings in D.C., Use his "toughness" After just 4 years on a National stage to convince Castro, Chavez, and others to toe the line....Make Health Care affordable for everyone without pulling the funds from some other agenda or raising taxes, and restore everyone's right to carry a gun no matter what, and to be able to do anything they feel like as long as it is for 'Their Inaliable Right' (screw the way others think), and everyone will pay the same tax based on their income(inc. Obama????). Yeah, sounds like exactly what this Country needs..Wonder why the last 20 Presidents didn't think of running on these issues??? He does not have the experience or the toughness to push through any of these issues. Give him 4-8 more years and then he might be experienced and tough enough to perform on a World Stage.
- In order to win the Democratic nomination, Obama must do these things... 1. Massively increase the size of government. 2. Increase our dependency on government. 3. Distribute wealth from the rich down to those who don't work for a living. 4. Initiate government-run health care paid for by taxpayers. 5. Start more social programs preventing the poor from being motivated to work for themselves and make their own decisions. The more left he goes of Clinton, the better his chances of getting the nomination. By doing these things, Obama can mimic the leftist socialist governments of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. This will ensure that Democrats will have their man!
- When have you heard issues come up in any of his speeches? Obama isn't winning because of the issues. I have yet to hear a supporter say "I'm voting for Obama because of his stand on..." Issues are for debates, and you don't control what comes up there; in speeches you stick to vague rhetoric, which is what got him this far.
