4. Assuming he wins the nomination (and that's a big assumption), I could see him choosing Rudy Giuliani.

7. McCain has always kept his thumb in the eye of the Republican establishment. I look for him to pull off something off that will be designed to unite the country, rather than to play party politics. If Hillary takes the Democratic nomination, look to McCain to ask Obama to join his presidential ticket.
8. A governor, younger, more conservative. If he wasnt SO young, Bobby Jindal from Louisiana might have been a perfect fit. Mark Sanford from South Carolina might be good fit. Or another southern Governor
9. He has already made it plain that Gov. Huckabee is on the short list. Although, this may be a bit premature, as many of the Super Tuesday states have a very, very strong evangelical base, and Huckabee is bound to aquire plenty of delegates.
