Considering the overall effect of the swift vote campaign . . .?

the Harold Ford commercials which insinuated that if elected he would disgrace the office with a promiscuous inter-racial dating, and the campaign waged against John McCain stating that his adopted daughter was really the product of a bi-racial extramarital affair . . . Again, I ask, how will Obama counter claims that he is Islamic? Swift Voters is common lexicon for people who let these campaigns determine there vote knuckle head.

1. Well, considering that he is NOT Islamic, he will probably counter it with the truth. If people are still idiotic enough to believe it after all the evidence shows them the contrary, then they are crazy bigots who would never have been voting for him in the first place.
2. He has been doing this. He's got street team of people who go out and clear the record, he's recorded videos about him and his church and put them on YouTube. Anyone who scratches the surface of such baseless accusations is quick to see that they hold no water. Anyone narrowminded enough to believe that Obama is a Muslim wouldn't be voting Democrat in the first place, so it's not like he's losing a vote.

4. If its one thing I've seen here its the total ability to believe whatever you want to believe no matter how often its been disproved, or how incredible it is. I don't think anyone who is sensible thinks Obama is Muslim. I don't think anyone who still thinks Obama is Muslim is sensible. Its like the Clinton hit list...many times debunked, and yet it still appears out of the minds of the willingly deluded.
5. Well, this is the GREAT thing about Obama's plan.. He NEVER hid that his stepfather was muslim..or that he did drugs..or anything He wrote it in his book! So, personally I think, he's already put out all of that..and most repubs have been following the dem. race and have already heard the muslim rumor--which was put to rest--by Cnn or Msnbc.. They had a BIG segment on him NOT being muslim! I suspect they'll do it again! But, the repubs play dirty! But, honestly, I don't think people are going to fall for it anymore..we're pretty sick of FEAR voting.. The thing I'm worried about the most is his LIBERAL record..THAT is what could break him. The conservatives put christian beliefs over EVERYTHING..that's how Bush got into power. I don't like the fact that they will choose a HORRIBLE but anti-abortion leader OVER a pro-abortion but EXCELLENT leader..
