If MITT ROMNEY defeated Ted Kennedy for the Senate, woud his voting record be more conservative than McCain?

If you think it would please back it up with any evidence. The evidence that his record would be less conservative would be as follows: -he embraced many moderate positions when he ran for Senate, -said Reagan was bad for America, -as Governor dcided on raising taxes by $700 million -flip-flopped on abortion, when running promised not to let any personal views on abortion affect pubic policy -parsed his words with Clintonian precision, -despite all their protests to the contrary was a weak supporter of the surge policy that saved our nation's mission in Iraq. Despite saying all the right stuff NOW, his actual record is mixed at best! My own thoughts is that LIMBAUGH et al woudn't be backing him and overooking these faults if it weren't for the schmoozing hes done---which strikes me as pretty pathetic! soci---- Your link was good, but ROMNEY waffed AFTER that story... Heres a link to an article that shows the original quote: http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Pu... Here is a video of some Fox News analysis on THAT quote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV9x0MXiv... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cV9x0MXivaM LINK showing his debate with Kennedy where he took several moderate positions and said Reagan & Bush were bad for America http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9IJUkYUbvI Did you watch the whole thing? My second to last link works too! Did you miss that? I added it after you told me it didn't work:

  1. LIMBAUGH , Has 0 credibility, as evident in Romney's vote last night. I take heart in this fact alone. American leadership is still drunk with power, arrogance, and an insatiable appetite for the accumulation of wealth. Based on a statement of principles drafted in 1997, and a think-tank created to formulate ways to implement the principles, The Project for the New American Century paved the way for George Bush and his pack of Neocons to launch the unprovoked and unsubstantiated invasion of Iraq . Several of the war hungry Neocons, like Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney, signed the statement of principles. The events of 9/11 gave them the rationale they needed to initiate their aggression. Their imperial intentions are clearly outlined at http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm. Their concluding paragraph states: "Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next." What is perhaps equally disturbing is that a vast majority of the Democrats have made little tangible effort to challenge the illegal actions of Bush and the Neocons, making them complicit partners. Short of a few exceptions, like Bill Moyers, the mainstream media has forsaken their duty as the Fourth Estate. Rather than informing the American people of the truth about our corrupt and malevolent government, they bow to the pressure of their corporate masters and feed us versions of the truth that withhold details and present criminal act by our government in a benign manner. A British Member of Parliament recently showed the guts to openly challenge several of our venal Senators (http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0517-35.htm). When will our own elected representatives and members of the press show that kind of spine? Perchance most of them have simply sold out and become party to the "Dark Side" of our national identity.
  2. I already showed you a link that showed he clearly supported the surge, you even gave me best answer for it and now your saying something different. who is parsing words with clinton precision and flipflopping right now? Its been shown many times how he balanced the budgent while inheriting a huge deficit as governor also. His record as governor was consistent with policy despite whatever personal views. As it should be And where was it he said reagan was bad for america? But if you like I can show you the numerous things that McCain has flipflopped on. = your link brings up page cannot be displayed. your youtube link brings up star wars paraphrase theatre. your last link, the only onethat works, only supports that Romney believes supporting constituents and rule of law. He never said anything bad in there abour Reagan and didnt even mention the name Bush at all. You sure we are watching teh same video?
