Presidental capaign 2008 help(John Mccain)?

Basically I need help on this: How has the prominence of the internet influenced the rhetoric surrounding the process to nominate a candidate to be the next President of the United States? I need to determine the rhetorical features of John Mccain's speeches. Thanks to anyone that helps.

Public Comments

  1. Well, the internet is a place where people can repeat lies and mischaracterizations ad nauseum until the lies gain an aura of truth. Campaign workers do this, as well as the candidates themselves. McCain and McCainites have saying over and over again that he has a sterling record opposing Rumsfeld's conduct of the Iraq war, particularly the low troop committment and torture of prisoners. McCain was actually equivocal on both points, but the public's memory is being twisted by internet lies.
