Have any of you seen this link on John McCain? What do you think ?

http://www.newsweek.com/id/107581/page/1 This McCain guy is a HOT HEAD it appears to me. Somewhere between crazy and brave. He seems to be trying to keep up with the previous Father and Grandfather and their militrary service records. To heck with rules and order seems to be his mode in past life approaches. He is a rather unsavory character and admits as much. How can we elect someone like this? How can such a disrupted spirit that has anger issues, has gone so far astray as to cheat on his wife and try to kill himself because of torture he brought on himself due to his combative mood swings, BECOME A GOOD PRESIDENT for our country. Particularly in the trying and bad times we now face? Don't we need a more collected, thinking, planning mind to guid and direct this country now?

  1. I don't need to read about McCain, I have seen his record , especially on Illegal immigration, and his stance on a future 100 year war, thats enough for me, and I don't like it. McCain is a no no.
  2. It is a very good article. But I am voting for Romney tomorrow. And we'll see who is left (pun intended) when November rolls around.
  3. Senator John McCain is precisely the type of talent we need to lead this country. He is decisive and fully understands that we must be prepared for a long term fight against terrorism. To quote the article "He doesn't suffer fools". Good for him; I don't tolerate fools, idiots or jobless freeloaders either. And he doesn't have half the temper that Harry Truman had. Plus, look at the frigging liberal rag that published the article. Newsweek for Christ's sake.
  4. I'm not a McCain supporter but your statements grossly exaggerate his weaknesses. Get a grip on reality. Dai Alanye http://alanye.com/
  5. McCain is not Presidential material. Sure, he was a prisoner of war, badly injured/treated...but he came back and has lived off the American tax dollar ever since. His record as a bad-tempered, near Democrat in his beliefs (according to many of his votes in the Senate), is verified by the hearty endorsements by the left leaning newspapers. Also, some Senators & Governors (who probably pity him and feel obliged to back him. After all, he's spent much of his life with them. I say let him stay with them; he doesn't belong in the White House. You're remarks are right-on. We don't need a maverick for President. We need a brilliant, level headed man with business experience and of impeccable moral character...like Mitt Romney. I see the 'Clinton Machine' behind the McCain left wing media endorsements. They WANT McCain to win the Republican endorsement. What an easy target he would be for Hillary to tear apart in the final days before the November elections. I'll bet they rejoice every night over his latest endorsement and win of delegates. The left-wing media are all but proclaiming McCain the winner and denegrating Romney's wins. They've taken the Clinton Machine 'bait' (by that I mean, I sense behind the scenes manuevering for the endorsments of the lying, bad tempered McCain). If 'lying' is too harsh a description of his untruths for you, then when he says an untruth could it be his elderly mind not remembering correctly? The bottom line is, he probably couldn't win against whoever will be the Democrat's nominee. But, if he should win, consider this: an elderly Senator is one thing...but an elderly President just starting that stressful 4 or 8 year term would really test his temper and warrior background as Commander in Chief!!
