Do you think things will change if we elect a woman(Hillary Clinton)or a minority(Barack Obama) for president?

Barack Obama, being a minority. Hillary Clinton, being a women. ..:: PLEASE NOTE::.. I am not raciest against minorities or women, I am just curious because this would be the first woman or minority president.

  1. uh ya, both would be an improvement compared to bush
  2. no, nothing will change
  3. I think the country is ready for both,,,But in my opinion, Obama has the better chance of being elected. I'm a rep. and we feel if we run against Hillary there will be no contest..we will win. With Obama at tleast we know it will be a good contest.
  4. the only thing that will change is the color or sex of the president, not much else. People should not vote for someone purely bc they are black or because they are a woman. If someone is voting for that reason its purely stupidity and they shouldnt be voting to begin with.
  5. I think thing will change for the good if we vot for HILARY CLINTON!!:) I think thing will go down with Obama he is the bigest joker he is too lazy to do anything!>:( GO HILARY CLINTON!!!!!!!!:)
  6. not really...they can all say they are for CHANGE, but nothing will change. They will still have thier pet projects that cost us the Tax payer billions of dollars and only make themslves richer. Seen any middle class Presidents lately? Not.
  7. Women President have done great things in the past. Look at the history of India, led by a woman president Indira Gandhi for 10 years. Pakistan was led by a women President Bhutto. These so called third world countries already have women president, it about damn time, USA lets a woman come in to power. We shouldn't even be talking like this. Men and women both have the same brain capability. Same thing with Barack. Why bring his color in to this situation. He may do great things as well.
  8. btw black isn't the minority specially where i live, ATL BABY!!!
  9. I can understand your caution in asking this question. I think we have to keep in mind that whom should ever get in office will not only govern women or minorities, but this nation as a whole, including all of the folks in between. In addition, let's keep in mind that our President will also make decisions with a whole cabinet of people.....not just on their own. Yes, things will definitely change, they have to or else, we will start to look like Berut or Iraq
  10. things will change for sure with either in office, but not nessesarily get any better. until we change the way the voting system in this country works, it won't matter which party is in office.
  11. com'on women do it best!! Yes, things will change. Tampon machines may be replaced in public restrooms : )
  12. The only time anything will change in politics is when the citizens of the country get tired of the same old propaganda and fake debates that occur every time an election occurs. Take a look back into history and ask yourself - how many issues and topics are the same, yet today, we still have the same problems with schools, education, and bad foreign policy, and yet, we still believe that the next president is going to change everything. It should not matter what gender or race the next president will be, but how strong and effective that president will be.
