Barack Obama.?

Is Mr Barack Obama a Muslim or Christian? I understand he's attending United Church of Christ, but he was also brought up in a fundamental Muslim sect, Wahabi, under his step father while in Indonesia. I understand he attended Catholic School before, but he also attended the Madrasa, which is Muslim School breeding a lot of fundamentalist (as well as terriorists). Is he undercover Muslin working in Christian Political enviroment? Or is he a Christian with Fundamental Islamic Influence? What do you think? Hi CowBignBrown, It seems to me that you are a specialist in Obama. Anyway, I accept your view on 'Christian' as well as Obama. I do wish the Americans will vote wisely, as their decisions will have an impact to other nations, like it or not.

4. He is a Christian. He is not a Muslim. He has had a well-rounded religious training. Which would allow him to relate to ALL people on the religious front.
5. If you understand he went to a Catholic school, why don't you assume he is a Catholic? He had a very mixed background, but in no way was he raised a Wahabist! And he doesn't just attend UCC, he's an actual member.

I was under the impression that his dad (not his stepdad) is a Muslim. However...it's plausable that he was somewhat influenced by the Koran and the Islamic faith. He's attended Catholic School...but there is no credible evidence that links him to attending the Madrasa----or any other school that breeds Islamic fundamentalism. I don't see any direct evidence that links his sayings/thoughts to Islamic Fundamentalistic thinking. "What do you think?" People who say that Obama is a Muslim are either misled by someone else---or they're lying to others. Obama is a Christian. But at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter folks WHAT religion you are---it's about YOU as a person. You character---your personality---your moral and ethical beliefs should be considered well before your own religion, especially if you are running for President.
7. I do not know for certain about Mr. Obama's faith. I do not believe that he acts in a Christian manner. No one acts in a Christian manner at all times. No one. However, I am not giving Mr. Obama a pass. His voting record and his own words demonstrate that he does not embrace some central Christian ideas. For examples, abortion, homosexual "rights". He can also be quoted as rejecting some of the Holy Scriptures. Now is he "christian"? What does "christian" mean. A definition must be settled on. To me, Christian means a born-again believer in Jesus Christ as personal savior. To some, christian means living in a christian nation. To others, it means believing in God. Some believe belonging to a particular denomination means christian. So, I don't know if he is a Christian(only he and God know that) but some will say he is while many others say not.
