If MITT ROMNEY was running for re-election as Governor of Massachussetts, would he support the war in Iraq?

Public Comments

  1. No but don't confuse that with his position now, they change rapidly.
  2. I think so
  3. Yeah, that's certainly a state issue.
  4. I'm not a Romney supporter, but your question is sort of irrelevant, isn't it? Since the Governor of Massachusetts has no say in the war in Iraq, I wouldn't expect him to announce a position one way or the other. It would be like asking McCain, "Do you support the idea of more local aid from the Commonwealth and going directly to the communities, or are you satisfied with current levels?". Why would I ask him the question if it is not relevant?
  5. He really doesn't have to have an opinion for that job. If I lived in Massachussetts I wouldn't want him to waste anytime talking about that in a debate or on the campaign trail. I would want to know if he was running for president though... but not for governor. It wouldn't matter then.
  6. Of course - all the politicians do!
