what is the opinion here?

Public Comments

  1. i think he sucks
  2. he can rot
  3. He is the only one who makes sense.
  4. I think he made some good points tonight but he doesn't stand a chance and that's too bad!!
  5. He has been censored.
  6. He very much sticks to the constitution. To me, he is sort of like Ross Perot. He is entertaining but nothing more than a protest vote. He is not qualified for President, but I am happy he is still in the race.
  7. He's the most well suited person to be the next president...for 2 terms.
  8. He is an arrogant doofus looser.
  9. Ron Paul is the only real choice for peace, for liberty, for the economy, and for protecting the sovernty of the USA. He is not beholden to corporate america. And he has a record that supports his platform Check www.votesmart.org and compare his votes to the others
  10. He has some good ideas on the economy but foreign policy is not his forte. Too liberal on Foreign policy.
  11. ron paul is right and mccain and romney cannot stand it
  12. The only real conservative who knows our dollar is crashing, and knows the economy is coming to its knees. The only real republican who advocates smaller government, less taxation, no more nation building, and return ourselves into the Constitutional values.
  13. Ron Paul would be be great! Study the issues and vote for the one that fits your views!!!
  14. He is the only candidate who makes any sense and who has a solid plan for America. Why is the media censoring him? I think they're afraid that he could actually win if they displayed him more... RON PAUL 2008
  15. He is the only candidate that actually has solutions for the problems that face our country. He has a different mindset than the rest of the field. Politicians think; We have a problem, how much money do we need to throw at it to get it to go away? Ron Paul, as a doctor, thinks; We have a problem, what can we do to stop the problem at it's source, rather than just treat the symptoms. He is a threat to both Democrats and neo-con Republicans because he is against the convoluted bureaucracy that they represent, and thus, he gets left out of debates, censored, and when he wins debates or polls high, it is reported as a "fluke" or is not reported at all. rEVOLution 2008
  16. I'm kind of digging all of that Constitution stuff. I notice the other candidates rarely talk about that wonderful document. Maybe they secretly despise limited government.
  17. Ron who??? Oh, you mean Ron "3% of the votes" Paul. He's not going to win, so get used to that idea now so you won't be heartbroken when he does not win the nomination or the write in votes.
  18. Contrary to popular belief on this page, Ron Paul would actually make a horrible president. He want to replace the income tax (which is progressive, and therefore and excellent idea) with a higher sales tax (which is inherently regressive, and would subsequently screw the poor), for heavens sake. He is very much against the idea of lots of government spending, but government spending is essential to keeping the economy stable, promoting equality, and providing public goods. Essentially, a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for economic instability and anarchy.
  19. RON PAUL 2008 ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the many things I like about him is End Forced Health screening and vaccinations. Follow the Constitution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I would like to see him win; unfortunately his stance is clearly against big government and corporate run government which gives him little to no chance of winning. His opponents hold too much sway (read funding) with the media that it is in their best interest to basically blacklist him. His ideas adhere to those written out in our Constitution by the Founding Fathers. Read his monetary/ fiscal policy and tell me where his bad judgment is. Better yet ask any other candidate what their explicit fiscal policy will be. He is opposed to meddling in other nations' business which is sound foreign policy, and would greatly reduce the amount of hate towards us as a nation. We need to foster a sense of working together with other nations as opposed to our current ideology of we know what's best for you. Jared- You may want to restate your source as: No idea about economics and politics. Government spending has the opposite effect on a free-market economy (more spending = less stability). A free-market economy will inherently regulate itself. Govt. spending limits free-trade and fosters a deficit trade state where money is printed as needed to pay off debts, devaluing the dollar, and deflating the economy.
  21. If Ron Paul is elected, he won't decide if your state should be pro-life or pro-choice. That will be up to State legislature (officials you personally elected) to determine which path they want to follow. If you don't like it, you can then move to a state that has the laws of your liking. The president is not allowed to make these types of decisions based on the Constitution,
  22. If you are an old, white, rich, upper-class man only looking out for the concern of other old, white, rich, upper-class men, their trophy wives, and their preppy children, then vote for him. If you're a little more open-minded, then I wouldn't. He'll croak in a few years anyways.
