Is Rush Limbaugh correct about Mitt Romney?

El Rusho offten say that Romney and Thompson are the only real conservatives in the race running. He says McCain, a noble man, has often sided with liberals on the most important issues besides Iraq. He says Huckabee is a good Christain man and a nice guy, but Huck has the same liberal tendencies. 2. Anyone like mitt who is pro-choice is not a conservative. No matter how many times he calls himself conservative. Anyone who listens to Rush on a regular basis knows who is a conservative or not. Why have we not heard more on where mitt stands on the second admendment, because of his pro-gun control record thats why. Mitt may have some conserverative issues but he is far from a conservative!! dittos
3. Rush also thinks Reagan was the greatest president ever which is a load. So consider your source.

7. Yes, I agree with his analysis. Here is mine Huckabee- to much like Bush, not really a conservative McCain- Has no core convictions, he just wants to be liked by the DC media. I am still trying to choose between Romney and Thompson.
8. I am from arkansas and can tell you that huckabee does do things politically like a dem. He also likes to free lots of prisoners at the end of terms. Mitt romney does have a few liberal ideas about abortion but if you have heard his reasons why he fells that way you might not blame him. Being LDS makes him pretty conservative as well.

11. Whatever romney is changes depending on how he feels that day. The guy has changed his tune more then anyone I've ever seen. When he was gov of massachusetts, he was all about being pro-choice and universal healthcare. And now he is a strict conservative? Who the hell knows what he actually is? He doesn't seem to.

14. If he thinks that Romney is the only true conservative, he might want to look a little closer at Romney. He tends to be conservative now, but his message has changed so many times that I wouldn't want him in a foxhole with me.
15. They're ALL very authoritarian when it comes to government control in personal lives. They ALL favor laissez-faire approaches to commerce to a near fault and most certainly to a fantasy level. It's just that on Rush's political scale, "real" conservative means "feudalist". On that scale, he's right that Romney and Thompson are THE most fedualist of them all.

I still say there will a compromise, but am a little upset that McCain stated he 'would deport the 2 million illegal criminals". If he knows this then allon cap hill know it and should have done their job and protected our loved ones. Yes Sen. McCain has been on both sides of the fencs, but even after the way he was treated in the elctions by bush's people, he did stick with the guy on some issues. You take care.
