If Mitt Romney became President of the United States, would more people feel comfortable becoming a Mormon?

Public Comments

  1. People who smile as much as Mormons do are not to be trusted...
  2. mormons are stupid people because they dont believe in Bible completely.
  3. if another republican wins by fraud <like bush, both times> i might just leave
  4. If Barrack Obama became President of the United States, would more people feel comfortable becoming Muslim? I think both questions have the same answer...
  5. No, no one will ever fell comfortable becoming a mormon because it's very far from Christ and the God.
  6. I'd feel more comfortable becoming Canadian. Or maybe Australian. I'd go someplace where I don't have to watch this country go down the crapper.
  7. If that happens, and it probably will not... in time...hopefully... people would soon see that he is not what he appears... and would start to take an honest and closer look at the cult to which he swears allegiance... and see it for what it really is as well... that might actually be a good thing as it would stop, or slow the spread of that cult. God help us all if Billery or the onbamination win.
  8. I feel comfortable being a Mormon before he were to be elected and I would feel the same after.
  9. I think the more important question is: would more people feel comfortable voting for a Mormon if they really understood the true character of Mitt Romney. He's a good man, and he's a Christian - as are all Mormons - despite what anybody else says. Converting to Mormonism has little if anything to do with who gets elected President.
  10. I don't know. It may help people realize that we aren't some strange, dangerous cults that sacrifices young children. We will have to see what effect it will have on the church. If he is a positive example of the church and our values- as I believe he will be, there should be a favorable effect. There are 13 million Members of the LDS church worldwide.
  11. If that nightmare of nightmares happens, there will be blood in the streets let me tell you, dogs and cats living together...Armageddon!
  12. probably. Mitt Romney is too Mormon to win the election, though. the conservative republican base will abandon him because of his religion and he won't muster enough votes to win against the likes of Clinton or Obama.
  13. I sincerely hope that is not the case. Joining the LDS or any other religion for the wrong reason is not very healthy or long lasting. Personally, I want people to join LDS because of the truth that the Book of Mormon presented, not because of Mitt Romney becomes the US President.
