Barack Obama?
What's the republican view of Barack Obama ?
Public Comments
- Fear! He seems very electable and they are worried that he will be very tough to beat if he gets the nomination, they in fact, may be right!
- I find it very sad that his Condolleza Rice wannabe of a wife let Stevie Wonder fall down. Hey Michelle, the man is blind. Is it too much to ask that you help guide him while he's trying to help your husband?
- The he has the exact same health care plan as Mitt Romney. That he is inexperienced. (And so is Hillary.) That he might be good in many respects, but the hammer will fall if he gets the nomination. He's got some explaining to do, and Republican are going to make sure that he does it. Good question.
- Here's an article from a conservative regarding Obama: http://www.spectator.org/dsp_article.asp?art_id=12671
- The most unqualified candidate to get this far in an election. He is the master of vapid speech.
- They understand the American voter is an A*hole and liking to vote for Frank Sinatra,
- I think they are afraid that they cannot beat him. edit: ya_staff, aren't you getting a little desperate? I could say that during the Ride That Donkey clip that Hillary "abused" one of the donkeys so PETA could come down on her to....but I don't think it is necessary. Obama is strong. I don't need to make up things as a distraction....
- Republicans are the good old boy network. He won't fit in and he has never fitted in. Neither did Colin Powell. They know how they operated. They operate with their money! and that money comes from the Middle Class and trumped down on the poor......250 people living under a bridge in New Orleans white and black and others........that is America That's what the republicans view is of Obama....just another home boy from somebody's middle class ghetto. They are gonna make sure that they get Lobster and we will get the chitterlings of the Lobster.
- oh look.. another one. beyounce: republican doesn't mean your rich. it means you don't want a handout. ive been unemployed for 3 months, believe me not by choice. I've worked for everything I have and will continue to do so. its the democrats who want to be coddled and cared for by the government, PAID for by us poor and middle classes who can barely afford our own.
- Well there are plenty of people unemployed. Myself is one. And i have worked and i don't' want any handouts. But there isn't much work in this crappy town. I may have to just up and go with no plan just to get out of this hole. Smaller cities like this are hitting hard with this recession. Oh yes, it's been a recession and as afar as I'm concerned it's headed for depression and none of these idiots are remotely ready for what's to come. Barack Obama is living in fantasy land. I may not be a senator, but i know he can't restructure the entire government.
- Quite a few republicans seem to be so vexed by Billary's shrill histrionics, than they're willing to vote for Obama. He sounds sensible and doesn't fake cry to get attention. He also makes more sense and is more inspiring when he speaks.
- I was a republican until yesterday. I switched so I could caucus for Obama. I did it mostly because he's the only one who will get us out of this war. I don't think Hillary would, even though she says she would. I think she's bought and paid for by all the lobbiests and big companies just like everyone else in Washington. Obama is not. I think he sees our collective pain. He sees that we have been used and trampled on by oil barons. He wants to help us, and when he is President, I think he will. (FYI, I may have changed parties, but I would sooner walk on hot coals as vote for Billary)
