  1. aww i really wanted to comment..but cannot play audio at work.... :(
  2. Not much. I don't think much of him either. What do you "know" about his so-called church? You should look into that! Barack says he is a Christian--I don't think so.
  3. I think he's being very reasonable in his support for a secular government of a pluralist population.
  4. Chocolate Bikini, buy headphones :) I think that's the most forward-thinking and coherent speech I've heard out of a politician in a long time. However, the radical Christians will be mad that he acknowledged that the Bible contains contradictions.
  5. Interesting. If it's he or Huckabee, I'd definitely vote Obama.
  6. I don't think anything of him, or his speechs.
  7. Sounds like it's been editted. Here's the complete transcript (and a podcast): http://obama.senate.gov/podcast/060628-call_to_renewal_1/ Interesting, yes. Generally I don't like my political candidates to talk about religion (just like I don't like CEOs of companies to talk about it - it's not their job). This type of speech is aimed at the same people Bush was talking to when he said God told him to invade Iraq. Edit: KDHaroun...so it is okay to judge somebody by the color of their skin (or the circumstances their parents happened to raise them) rather than the content of their character or their words or deeds? Sweet.
  8. Wow! I love it! He had my vote before, but now I've got to try to figure out how to vote twice.
  9. he does not sound like someone committed to his "Christian faith" as he claims.......he obviously cannot put the whole bible together and see the over all message.
  10. I don't listen to Barack. Obama lived in Indonesia as a child, from 1967 to 1971, with his mother and stepfather and has acknowledged attending a Muslim school. So........people who think he is "all that" hasn't done their resesarch. I'm sorry (well, no I'm not), but after 9-11 , I'm not going to listen to someone or vote for someone that has had Muslim background or influence.
