Does the fact that Barack Obama is a Muslim make him seem unfit to president of the USA?

I dont hate muslims at all, but Im not so sure America is ready for a Muslim president, especially one with his name Barack "Hussain" Obama (which sounds alot like Osama mind you).

9. No, for two reasons. One, there is no requirement that a president be of a particular religion in the Constitution. Two, he's actually a Christian - one of those whacky non-denominational christians who have gay minsisters and the like - but still, not Muslim. While he's not unfit to be president, he's less than well-qualified, and he has some rather foolish positions on certain issues.
10. Look, The United States was not ready to have a Catholic president, but they elected JFK anyway and he turned out to be a great president. The most importaint is that people like yourself keep bring up religion when it does not effect a president while they are in office. Have you ever heard of seperation of church and state? What religion a president is really does not matter. Do you know what religion Clinton is, what about McCain, or how about Huckabee?

12. Obama is a Christian, Not a Muslim. So, wherever you heard that, its false. You really have to wonder about the so-called "moral values" crowd. What does it say about their "morals" when they keep inventing outright lies about a candidates religion? Now, we know they are unpatriotic--or they would respect American values like religious freedom and equality--which they obviously don't.

14. Barack wouldn't be anymore unfit to be President because of his religion than Bush would be for being a born-again Christian. I grew up with Fundies and they seem scarier than any Muslim, but then again, Barack isn't even Muslim. I don't know if America is ready for a guy with a name of Mitt who is Mormon, a guy who is called Rudy who's been married 3 times, or a guy with a last name of Huckabee that wants to redo the US Constitution to match the Bible (who has also been a South Baptist minister). They make Obama and Hillary look downright tame.
