Why do idiots believe the chain email that says Barack Obama is a radical muslim terrorist?

This is an attempt by racist conservatives to scare the public from supporting Barack Obama. If anyone believes this garbage they should go to http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim.asp This websites investigates the validity of email rumors. This email is full of made up lies and is complete garbage.

1. Because emails like that play on the public's fears of terror hitting American soils again, like 9/11. Fear and rationality don't mix that good so people become afraid when they read stuff like that and don't stop to think how foolish it is
2. You can also check on that website where Obama is standing beside all the other presidential candidates and he is the only one that is not saluting the flag. Hum what a bummer.

4. Because some folks are too lazy to check for themselves OR they WANT to believe that cr@p. Others are so shocked at what they hear, they just take it for gospel truth. BTW, the poster that mentioned Obama and not putting his hand over his heart? If you look and listen carefully, you will see that it is in response to the National Anthem, NOT the Pledge. It's a very recent thing to put your hand over your heart for the anthem. Most of us older folks just sing along (for better or worse!)
5. Oh yes, I got this e-mail from a friend, too.Right in the message I got there was a link to the origion of the rumors. It says that some of the things in the e-mail are not true and even call it an "urban legend". So for whoever reads this - if you are inclined to believe that chain e-mail - do the research for yourselves to find out the truth.

7. Probably because he hasn't been upfront with the fact that his natural dad and step-father were Muslim, so that makes it seem secretive.
