12. He can't just issue them. They would have to purchase them as the money goes to the Church. Of course you'll never know the particulars about that because Mormons, unlike virtually every mainline faith in America, doesn't open its books to the public, or even to its own members. The Mormon church is very tight-lipped about how much money it brings in. That should tell you something. By the way, they take away your right to go to the Mormon 'Temple' (which requires a pass called a "temple recommend").... and your special hi-test underwear, if you stop tithing at least 10% of your income. Another indication of why you can expect those young people in white shirts to keep coming to your door.
