Where Does Mitt Romney Really Stand On Issues?
Why did he say it was all right for a gay to be a scout master. Why did he change his stance on abortion. Yet he still claims to be a Mormon.

- It's truly sad when the media spins everything he says. No matter what he says now or what he has said in the past the media will keep taking his statements out of context and making people hate him because of something never said. He is a Mormon and is in good standing with his faith, he has been very specific that he is against abortion. As for the gay scoutmaster I think that he's just trying not to be called a biggot, or untollerant person anymore.
- he flip flops, whatever to please the public just like any other candidate
- he's saying that stuff to appeal to moderates... i highly doubt he actually feels that way especially being mormon, they have very conservative values... i'm sure his bishop had a few things to say...
- Where does Mitt stand on the issues? Depends on who he's talking to at the time. I've seen many of Massachussetts' own on here saying how bad he would be because he quickly forgot about his promises right after he won
- he is unstable
- I am Democrat... however, out of all of the republicans I like Romney.... I like his stance on Amnesty. I think he is a family man and seems to have a happy healthy family. Guliani cannot say the same... married 3 times and kids hate him. Huckabees wife is weird.... she said something the other day about "Being a submissive wife" weird. McCains kids hated him too when he had the affair with his current wife and have since reconciled. I don't get how people judge the Clintons... if someone wants to talk about family values (republicans) yet they have broken marriages, kids hating them, and cheating on their wives... yet the Clintons have faced turmoil and stayed married with a beautiful successful daughter.... talk about family values. The Clintons win that one. Oh back on subject of your question.... I like Romney.. he would be a fine president.
- FLIP FLOPAGE How can you trust a person to do the right thing when they can dismiss their moral core for the same of politics?
- I don't know, when you find out please let me know.
- The media hates Romney with a passion I have never seen before. Anything he does is distorted and taken out of context. He is a devout Mormon, a intelligent leader and a smart businessman. These are the things that the media has never reported on and should. By the way, I am voting for Giuliani but am sick of the media bias in politics.
- Most people from Mass. say they would never want Romney back - see www.massresistance.org He changes his "stand" based on who he is standing next to, on every issue. He twists words to his advantage. He is the least trustworthy of all the candidates in any election put together. He denied that he accused McCain of supporting amnesty - until reminded about his commercial. He said he didn't say the word "amnesty". Technically he didn't. The actors in the commercial he bought said it for him, then said but it is true McCain will not deport all the illegals. When pressed he admitted that McCain does not support amnesty. When asked if he would deport all 12 million illegal aliens he admitted that it would be impossible. He brings up his faith, vows to live by it, swears he will not disavow any part of it but will not answer any questions about it. Members of his faith who are politicians have been charged with doing what the church tells them to do, as far as government policy. There is a law suit in Missouri right now for it. Romney's church runs Utah government. Mormon scripture demands members to be active in politics, they have a prophecy about Mormons taking over and "saving" the country. We have a right to question him about it. If it weren't true he'd have said so by now - but he won't. Look at the beliefs of his religion and tell me if you think anyone who believes this "religion" is capable of making a rational decision.
