Congratulations: Ron Paul won silver medal in the Silver State!?
This was a great progress for the Ron Paul revolution. I guess how shall his performance be in Florida, and most important of all; Feb. 5th and March 4th. I believe that this will be a great chance for Ron Paul to increase his voters. If Ron Paul doesn't win the Republican nomination, then he'll do very very well if he ran as an Independent, because by then he'd have won the hearts of tens of millions of voters and the fame he deserves to achieve. Do you think that Ron Paul should take a famous vice-president like Obama or Hillary (if either one of the two lost the Democratic nomination)? Now this would be a very great opportunity for both to win the elections as Independents. What do you think? Please expalin...

- I heard that most of the people who voted for him in Las Vegas thought they were voting for Rue Paul. As for running as an Independent, so what you are saying is that you want a Democrat to be the next President, that says a lot about Paul supporters. They want him to be the next Perot and help elect another Clinton. This man must be stopped!
- It should be noted that Paul did well despite the near maniacal behavior of his supporters
- Wow, Second Place by default. Not really impressed. Since he and Romney were the only two In Nevada for the Rebublicans. 51% to 14% thats pretty much a landslide. That's like a Ford Pinto trying to draft pass a racecar......It's not gonna happen.
- well Bloomberg will soon be in the mix -I dont know if these 2 see eye to eye on certain things but that could be a very interesting match up- and it is amazing being that even though mccain and huckabee didnt campaign there they do get tons of free press coverage nationally that would probably be equivalent to what ron paul spent in ads there (my point being the others dont neccessarily need to campaign to get their votes being the media provides it free for them )
- Ron Paul may have barely come in second place in NV (which will probably be his only "good showing"), and he was still absolutely crushed by Romney. Paul would need to win the South, crucial for any Republican, and South Carolina did NOT go Paul's way. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#SC
- For the only candidate running TV spots in Nevada, one would think he would have done better. He was totally annihilated by Romney and barely edged McCain by 1%. Not a very strong showing. His 4% 5th place showing in SC will bring him back down to reality.
- Ron Paul is a voice of truth and a breath of fresh air. The Public is catching on to this as well most importantly the young vote. His voting record speaks for itself (I strongly suggest that Obama and Hillary supporters research this) It is because of this that he should absolutely not run with a candidate that is controlled by lobbyist and Zionist and globalist. Nor would either of the two run with someone like Dr. Paul who would completely bring our troops home from all around the world end the Federal Reserve end the pointless war on drugs and clamp down on immigration. I strongly hope for one of three people to run along side of RP and that would be Duncan Hunter or Dennis Kucinich.
- Congratulations for wasting a crap load of money on a state no one else was running in? Romney did not even run and only won because Nevada has the second highest Mormon population in the country. Ron Paul wasted millions of dollars and barely beat McCain who didn't spend a dime. LOL yeah huge accomplishment there. He is not going to win any states, and as far as I am concerned he just had a Tantalus moment. In case you don't know who that is let me explain, Tantalus was punished in Hades, his punishment was to have water just below his lips and food just above. and when he would bend to drink or reach up to eat the food and water would move away. he was to starve and thirst forever. However Persephone, wife of Hades, felt sorry for Tantalus and gave him one drop of water and one grape. this made the punish ment more brutal because Tantalus had forgotten the taste of food and water. Paul got his drop of water and his one grape, and that's all he is ever going to get.
- I will stick to the beliefs I hold about the constitution, the government, foreign policy and securing our borders - I will continue to support Ron Paul for as long as he is willing to run. To vote ANYTHING other than Ron Paul, after the things I have learned by doing research on him, would be to betray everything I believe. It's no longer about trying to select the lesser of two evils, but to get someone genuinely good into the White house. To everyone that thinks we should abandon hope, is to say that they don't believe our resolve. Ron Paul has a great message and the voting record to support it. He has the constitution on his side, not the mass media. If you would just up and abandon your candidate when they were on the ropes, maybe YOU should reconsider who you're supporting. Ron Paul 2008!
- yeah, I've heard arguments on boths sides, but the bottom line, to garner enough delegates in a caucus state is no easy task, and to do it with all the negative press being thrown at him, is nothing less than astonishing....it only makes me wonder how well he would have done with fair treatment from the media........Mitt and Ron spent money in nevada on advertising, and it payed off for them. the media's other viable candidates are in a money crunch, and cant reach the other states.....were going too see just how viable they really are. SC got sucked into the McCain and Huckabee hype.
