How many republicans does it take calling Bush wrong, B4 the rest of the Neo/Clowns admit Bush is a failure?
Need more examples? Try this, "The latest sign of GOP division over White House security policy came Thursday in a letter that Powell sent to Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record), R-Ariz., one of three rebellious senators taking on the White House. Powell said Congress must not pass Bush's proposal to redefine U.S. compliance with the Geneva Conventions, a treaty that sets international standards for the treatment of prisoners of war." Unless neo/clowns have a blood-lust for war, they should all be calling for his head! Now, just because I don't like bush and his BS war, I would appreciate no post calling me in favor of the terrorist or terrorism. As I have already served in the 1st BS gulf war under Bush 1, I would like to know from any negative posters where they served. HMCS Terra Nova Javelin Troop 119 Air Defence Battery

- OVER 60% of americans believe Bush is a failure .
- 2 terms in the White house and what is it 2 as gov of texas...a jet fighter pilot...the leader of the free world. yah he's a realllll loser alright What have you done lately ?
- I predict, unfortunately, that Bush will win on this one and get his legislation. Hastert, the Majority Leader in the House, refuses to call for a vote on anything unless he's been assured of a Republican majority, and he has scheduled the vote. ----- Chris -- there's an article on washingtonpost.com, front page right now.
- Bush wants to torture his secret prisoners and those at GITMO
- Do you have a link for this proposal on redefining our compliance? Not that I doubt it exists, just that I hadn't heard about it and I'd like to read up on it. Edit: Thanks TxSup for pointing the article out to me. I stand firmly against any attempts to redefine or modify our compliance with the Geneva Convention - after all, if we expect other nations to follow it, we have to as well, especially in our position as world leaders. However, the key word there is "nations". The Geneva Convention doesn't cover such entities as terrorist networks, which don't fight under any nation's flag. Having said that, I still believe we ought to take the high road as much as possible when dealing with terrorism suspects. As has been pointed out to me before, the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment applies to anyone under US jurisdiction, which would include those in our custody.
- since when was leading a popularity contest
- It's official. The chimp is a bona fied FAILURE: http://www.hist.umn.edu/~ruggles/Approval.htm
- Bush's approval numbers were announced today at 48% in favor. Oh no, here come the Republicans to steal your thunder again!
- His approval ratings is on the rise. I will say this though, there are more republicans that think Liberals are the big losers. You can't throw McCain statement at a Republican, we all know he is only a RINO. USAF Misawa Japan
- I'm not happy with Bush's performance with the war in Iraq We need to fight to win and stop worrying about what everyone else things... Let the military do their job and stop hindering them with rules of non-engagement and all the PCC (politically correct crap) dont make the mistake of thinking we all dont approve of Bush's performance for the same reasons
- Here let me give you a history lesson... here it goes War rules are formulated over past experiences from previous styles of fighting and enemies. Many of the rules, you say Bush is breaking is being done more on the other side than ours. So, personally i would love to get all the info. we need without torture, but how many videos do you need to see of an innocent foreigner getting his/her head chopped off? One was too many for me, and i don't care what we do to our prisoners anymore, as long as it is helping us. Democratic senator Joe Lieberman supports the Iraq War, so isn't that the same thing you are saying to republicans? Except vice versa.
