What might this mean for Barack Obama and the US?

Barack Obama is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed. Were he elected president of the Untied States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.

1. Depends on how much he cares. And how much the Muslim world cares. If I were president of the United States, and seeing that I really don't care too much about religion, I wouldn't really care. If I was a ex-Muslim president of the United States I wouldn't treat the Muslim world differently. However, usually the Muslim world cares about these things.. they might start terrorizing us just because the president is a murtadd.

8. I've thought close to the same thing. Why isn't Obama considered a "traitor" by the radical Islamic community since he converted to Christianity? Or was his coversion to Christianity just a front?
9. damn well im a Muslim and personally i dont see why anyone would convert from Islam unless it was for material gain or something cos, Islam is like the younger brother of Judaism and Christianity.... it even supports these religions in the quran.... so he probably converted to a different religion for freedom like someone would become a rasta so they can smoke cannabis or something as part of there religion... But yeah it would probably effect things with other Muslim countries because it seems like Islam is being attacked by westerm parts of the world.....like look there is a word for muslims.... Islamists you dont exactly here Hinduists or anything do you... and my friend started telling me how America saved Iraq and stuff for Iraqis own good rather than oil and he didnt wanna listen to anything i said which shows how much propaganda is going against muslim countries. Also it is probably a front because all Muslims have read the Quran and know that it supports Jesus and Christianity as they beleive in the same god....
10. I am more worried about the hate groups in this country such as the KKK or one of the white supremacist groups in this country trying to assassinate him. If muslims were able to get close enough to the President to attack him, George Bush would already have been assassinated.

12. You guys hear Muslim and always think it's bad. No one made this big of a deal when Madonna changed her religion so what's the problem. Saying that Obama is a terrorist or anything like Osama is just like me saying all white people are serial killers. Give me a break!
