If the 2008 Election was tomorrow and the election was between Mitt Romney or Barack Obama...?

If the 2008 Election was tomorrow and the election was between Republican Mitt Romney and Democrat Barack Obama, who would you vote for and who do you believe would win? Between Romney and Obama, I would choose Romney and I believe he could defeat Obama for the Presidency because of his experience.

Public Comments

  1. Absolutely Romney. ANYONE but Obama.
  2. Hillary will be there not Osama, excuse me, Obama Hillary has been making change since she graduating from Yale Law School in 1973, thats the 35 years of Change she is referring to....to those who don't know what change she has made? Please read more about her history... Whoever says Obama is the best for the job is really not that bright...it is like letting an 8 year old fly an airplane! He has done nothing but Talk talk talk, talk talk talk, I live in Chicago Illinois, and he has done nothing for us here...what makes you think he'll do anything for the country?
  3. mitt
  4. Romney all the way.
  5. Obama. Romney is an idiot who will flush the country further down the toilet.
  6. I think Obama would have the full support of the democrats, and would take the votes from the disgruntled republicans. Sorry to say it, but after Bush did such a horrible job, I think the country will end up voting democrat just to get the sour taste of republican-borne recession out of their mouth, and I don't really think they'll care if it's Hillary or Obama up there...
  7. Romney.
  8. ANY Republican over either of the two major remaining Dems....that is not just LOGICAL, but IRONCLAD GUARANTEED to happen. Remember, you heard it here FIRST.
  9. Obama wouldnt stand a chance because hes black there never will be a black president of the US
  10. I concur.
  11. These questions tickle me, putting hypotheticals up, but I think Obama would win, have you check the polling on these two, he beats Romney by about 15 points. I just look at polls. its actually 21 points http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html
  12. Although I'm a lefty (Democrat) I'd choose Romney. Obama's only been a Senator for 2 years, so has no experience. But it'll be Clinton who wins the election anyway.
  13. Romney - business AND gov't experience, with good track record in both. Obama is a journeyman senator at best. He's barely gotten the training wheels off. But, ANYONE but the Hildabeast... we deserve better than a Federal Nanny turned Uber Mother-in-Law...
  14. If the 2008 Election was held tomorrow and hypothetically it was a choice between Obama and Romney; I believe the country would elect Obama. First of all; American has a very bad taste of Republican Politics. Secondly, the change is the momentum that has stimulated voters of all demographics to stand and be counted. Thirdly, with the exception of Nevada; virtually non-contested with the rest of the GOP Candidates; Romney and Ron Paul exception. Fourthly, Democrats, Independents and unsatisfied Republicans; would triumph support Senator Obama quest for the White House over Romney.
  15. I'm rooting for Hilary Clinton right now.I think she has a lot of experience. But, if I had to pick I would vote for Obama. I'm a moderate. As someone already stated, the country is tired of the Republican party and then people are going Democrat for now.
  16. Romney only has experience being a flip flopper, being negative as a campaigner, and being an overall jerk. I guess you know who i'm pulling for then, lol!
  17. Because of Racism. Romney. Obama doesn't have a chance, because of the fear mongrels in America. George Bush won on fear mongering, remember?
  18. mitt romney by far
  19. America is ready to vote for a black president. Anyone one that says there will never be a black president I would like to know what your REASON is on this. If It were Obama vs Romney... Obama would probably win. It has already been noted disenfranchised Republicans might vote for Obama; but more so Independents would most likely vote for him over the blemished republican party's candidate. * Anyone notice that most of the candidates look strung out these days? They all might look a bit more apealing if they got a little sleep!
  20. Don't worry, Obama will not be in that race.
