Barack Obama?

for 08! everyone else's choice? I am not voting for him because he is black, I am voting for him because he is the overall best choice for this country. He is what American NEEDS more than what it WANTS. It is the right time for a black president though, it will reshape the country if he is elected JOHN C - that picture looks photoshopped first of all.. and, growing up in school my classmates were always told they could lower their hand if they didn't feel it was in their religion to praise American during the pledge. He is running for president, but he isn't being fake. He is representing himself and being honest in the process. Wouldn't you rather have an honest president, than an idiodic man, BUSH, who can't even admit to his own faults?

14. I like everything about Obama, except I don't think he has the experience at this point in time. We are going to need a president who can hit the ground running. My other problem with Obama is his Muslim roots. Sorry to say it, but the repubs will shred him in the general election with this issue. I see this as a deal breaker for this election cycle. Obama's only chance would be to get Colin Powell or Wesley Clark to run as Veep. I thought that Obama would be an excellent choice for Veep, but this issue almost eliminates him from that situation as well. The only way to be sure, would be for Obama to address the issue now, before we get near the general election.
