His gardeners were Guatamalen and he "didn't know it" and his site is in Spanish with his son even speaking in Spanish. (Look below). 2. You confuse the desire to get illegal immigrants out with getting hispanics out. It is same as saying because someone wants x criminal of a certian race sent to jail that they want all people of that race to go to jail. It is faulty logic to say they are equivalent. Personally i am not upset with illegals- i think our immigration system is screwed
3. First of all, OF COURSE he didn't know his gardeners were illegal. When you're rich, you hire people to hire people to hire the gardening company that hires the gardeners. I would crap my pants if John Edwards knew the names of any of his gardeners. Secondly, he has NEVER said that he wants Hispanics out. He has said that he wants to decrease illegal immigration. Those are completely different things. Thirdly, his sons went on missions for their church to spanish countries, so they learned it there. When a candidate has a resource like that, of course they're going to use it whenever they can. As for the link itself, I thought it was very pretty. I think it brings out the blue in your eyes.

HE didn't say he didn't know he was guatamalen- he said he didn't know he was illegal- do you know if your gardner is illegal? or your pool guy,- or anyone that works with you or for you?- there are plenty of illegal immigrants who are not hispanic- and plenty who are legal, that still speak spanish much better than english. They are legal- should they not be able to understand what is going on because there is not information out there that they can better understand because of language barriers? and as for his son, his son served a two year mormon mission in a spanish speaking foreign country where he learned fluent spanish. My husband did the same thing when he spent 2 years in the Dominican Rep. but he and i are very much against ILLEGAL immigration. And living in california, it is very helpful and encouraged to learn spanish because like it or not, it is a dominant language, and many companies cany progress without this bi lingual knowledge. So stop being so ignorant!
