Am I the only one who thinks Mitt Romney is a total scumbag?

I'm 18, college freshman, I never voted in an election before and didn't really plan on it in 2008 since I'm not into politics (I'm a microbiology major) and I don't really like Hillary. However, are there other people out there who just can't stand Flip Flopney? Isn't he the guy who flip-flopped on every single issue, hired illegal immigrants in his mansion (and now is anti-illegal immigrant all of a sudden!!)? I don't like Hillary, but I'll be damned if another Bush clone and hypocrite like Romney ever gets close to the White House. Who else can't stand him?

  1. youre are right, he is a total scumbag only the Repubs would have a slimeball like this for a Presidential contender btw - book of mormon is Anti Christ by the very definition of Christianity
  2. I was thinking during the debate the other night how much he reminds me of John Kerry. It must be a Massachusetts thing. He is a douche neo-con who has now changed his tune to get elected.
  3. How do you really feel ! ALL politicians flip-flop. I wouldn't want to elect someone who never changed their mind on anything, even when presented with facts.
  4. It's things like that that make you wonder. I won't vote for anyone that wants to take the same direction that Bush did. I already know Hillary is going to be our next president.
  5. If you're not into politics, and don't plan to vote, maybe you're not in a position to judge.
  6. I hate him and all politicians like him. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/ 20 years of consistent voting.
  7. The difference is that its okay for us Republicans to flip-flop because we have Christ, God, and the Book of Mormon on our side. You liberals must submit to the government and religion because if not, you will burn in hell. ROMNEY 2008! GOD BLESS AMERICA! ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS OUT OF THE USA! (except the ones who work in Republican mansions)
  8. No...I think he sounds like a used car salesman...him, Rudy, and Hillary all suck.
  9. anyone that thinks they need to consult their lawyers and not congress before declaring war doesn't have the constitutional knowledge necessary to even qualify to run for president. where does the GOP dig up these goons?
  10. Me, too.
  11. It will be one of the great ironies of our time if a flip-flopping liberal from Massachusetts is elected president by the Republicans.
  12. I always say if you don't vote, you have no right to b*tch. I can't stand him or Guliani and you can bet that I will cast my vote to say so.
  13. Like Hillary and Giuliani, Romney is just another opportunist. He will do and say anything to get elected, even if it flies afoul in the face of his principles. Why there are actually people who believe their lies and spin is beyond my comprehension.
  14. no, his money wont buy my vote
  15. If changing your opinion on a subject is a flip-flop then EVERYONE is a flip-floper..Im tired of everyone trying to use the flip-flop garbage. I hated when they used it on Kerry and I hate it now.
  16. No, I do NOT agree with you. Mitt Romney is a very great person will be a amazing President. It is to bad you get stuck on the small stuff. He did NOT hire illegal immigrants, get your facts straight!
  17. As far as my opinion is concerned, Romney, Clinton, and Giuliani are all scumbags. They all flip flopped on the issues. That's why I'm voting for Ron Paul, the one who stands by his principles and never flip flopped on the issues.
  18. Might be, sounds like you have some supporters and you and they may have some logical reason to feel and express yourself as you do; hover, you sure have not presented an intelligent argument here. I bet at one time you picked your nose and as time went on you decided that was not a good thing to do and FLIP-FLOPPED! When I was a kid I liked to drag race on public highways but as time passed I learned that was not the best thing to be doing and I flip-flopped! I bet you and your supporters, can look at yourself and find a lot of things you have flip-flopped over. We all learn as we experience things and take an opportunity to view them from another perspective. Many of our problems today are because Bush could not change his opinion and once he said something it was cast in stone. I do not know why you are wasting time in school if you are not ready to accept things in a different light as you learn. It sounds like you had all the answers the day you learned to walk. With your mindset it is better that you do not vote; an uneducated vote is worse than no vote at all. Romney many or may not be the best choice, there are a lot of good people running and some of them would do well as president, they have all earned their right to run. I do agree with at least one of your dislikes but we are all free to make our own choice; hopefully we will take time to learn the truth about them from their past and not their campaign claims. Before anyone voters they need to study the candidates.
  19. There is just something about him that tells me not to trust him.
