Mitt Romney?
Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney became the first candidate in the 2008 Republican race to run an attack ad, slamming Mike Huckabee's record on immigration. What do you think?

- It doesn't matter. It's not going to be a republican winning the race anyway :)!
- i think the mudslinging is starting early this year!!!! its gonna be amazing! lol
- I think that in Poltics it is important to seperate yourself from your rivals. Especially in an election like this. There are seven white, protestant, conservative, men on the stage running for the Republican nomination it is important to seperate themselves in anyway possible. When people run for president they dont only run for fun, they run to win. If running this attack ad helps Romney in anyway then it was a success. Presidential poltics is a battle of idealogy and an analysis of records, it is destined to get ugly...
- He lost me with his religion speech. He implied that one has to be religious in order to be moral. I disagree and now see where I stand with him. I have no use for him anymore.
- Romney is falling like a rock in my book. He keeps attacking Huckabee on stupid things. He keeps going after the same three things, the I have heard Huckabee successful explain away on a consistant basis. How about going after that Huckabee believes Adam and Eve is a true story. Oh ya, so does Romney. He thinks the Flintstones was a documentary. My only complaint with Mike Huckabee is that he actually might be the real deal. What you see, is what you get. It is a difficult concept to grasp inside the beltway.
- They are all a bunch of hypocrites. Romney employe undocumented workers
- Its an ad explaining huckabee's record on immigration, how can reporting the facts be an attack ad? All of the candidates are running ads comparing their stand on the issues. I want to see ads that talk about real issues (not religion, or family problems, etc) and where the candidates stand. I don't want spin, but I do want facts. About huckabee and immigration, I think the voters need to know his record in order to vote intelligently. Did you know that he rewarded illegals and their children with instate tuition and scholarship $$$. Money that actual citizens of ARkansas needed? Did you know that he opposed a bill that would ask people to prove their legal status in order to vote and to get state $? Everything he did as governor proved that he is for amnesty for illegals and he rewarded illegals every opportunity he got, but I doubt Mike wants to share that in HIS ads even though it is information that you need in order to be an informed voter.
- It doesn't matter to me, he is a 2 face on this having employed illegal immigrants to work in his home. I wish I could find a Republican that doesn't smack me as a bit of a hypocrite, Ron Paul seems to be the only candidate willing to get the country back to the U.S. Constitution and due process, which the current Presidential administration seems to be trying to shred. More than likely it will not be a Republican in the White House in 2008. The GOP as a group has not learned it's lesson yet.
