1. He is currently the best running candidate. I think that he will win and become one of the best presidents we've ever had.

5. I liked Mitt until he started his flip-flopping. He should have just stayed pro-choice if that was his real belief. He should not move to the right to influence the radical right.

7. He sounds better than a lot of candidates, but will have an uphill battle, as Governors have a lot less exposure than Congressmen, so a lot of people will not have heard of him.

9. Isn't going to happen. The Republican voters know that a majority of the country (including many of themselves) are upset with Bush. The closest thing to what Bush represents in 2008 (so far) will be Mitt Romney. The Republican Party will (just like the Democratic Party) need to do all they can to attract independent & swing voters, who are the groups who hold this election in the balance. Those groups (as well as many of the voters who are allied with one of the major parties) want someone who is not completely tied to his/her political ideals, but can step outside the box, when needed. As far as the Republicans go, McCain or Giuliani -- maybe even moreso than McCain -- can do this. These two men are also somewhat popular on the Democratic side of the aisle. Romney is just too... Bushish.
