Mitt Romney 2008?

who's excited?? I AM!

Public Comments

  1. maybe, he does actually seem real.
  2. A one-term governor of the small state of Massachusetts is not quite ready to be President of the United States.
  3. I am. He's very smart when it comes to fiscal ideas. He's conservative, but also a moderate on some issues. MITT*08 www.mittromney.com
  4. Im thinking he might be the only one with no dirty laundry.I will watch and see.
  5. He certainly has MORE experience than any of the democrat's front runners. Could be a good fit.
  6. No Way DUDE
  7. Libs won't vote for him because he's a mormon....but they'll chastise anyone who won't vote for Baral Hussein Obama because he's black.
  8. Check his record and decide for yourself. http://senate.ontheissues.org/Mitt_Romney.htm .
  9. He'll never get the bible thumpers' vote. I was in Salt Lake City a few years ago when the baptist conventioneers were there bashing their hosts as "counterfeit christians."
  10. Nope, he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Not conservative enough for his base, who doesn't trust him because he is a known flip flopper worse than Kerry. He's too heavily linked to the auto and oil industry. He's also mormon which means he won't get the vote from the E.V right wing of the party since they think Mormanism is a cult.
  11. Mormon Moron... ruined Massachusetts. Poses as a tough guy, really is a weak minded crony. Cannot beat Hillary.
  12. I'm from Massachusetts. Romney was an ok governor, but he doesn't exactly make me want to run outside my door and stick a "Romney in 2008" sign in my yard. It's still early. I'm sure we'll hear from plenty of other candidates before its over.
  13. not me
  14. The king makers in the Republican Party are the religious Right Imams. They are not just religious they are primarily Protestant fundamentalist. Fundamentalist see Mormons as evidence of the anti-Christ and that Joe Smith was channeling demons when he translated the book of Mormon. So you tell me how is Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, and all the others gonna tell their congregations that Romney (a Mormon) should be their President???? VOTE ANTI-CHRIST ..VOTE ROMNEY ...LMAO!!!
  15. just like crooked sherrif hackell ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ah
  16. Some of the fellow posters here have already hit it on the head. He seems like a decent enough Republican guy, but I think the fact that he's Mormon is going to greatly hurt his chances.
  17. He isn't a real conservative. Romney panders to whatever voting base will get him more votes. Yoiu can't trust him. Look at his record as governor in Massachusetts. He prided himself on being a moderate but now he is far right. In a span of two years he has become a conservative right in time for presidential primaries. Suspicious? McCain is more conservative than him. Romney has swayed people to his side with his charisma and oratorical skills.
  18. I am too, although it's doubtful I will vote democratic, it's nice to see real people coming out for the job! The clown act is already getting old. Rahm Emanuel needs fresh material, his Edgar Bergan/ Charlie McCarthy act with Hitlery is already stale. Where the hell did Emanuel get that last punch line: "I only gave the president the OK to give the UN inspectors more time to................!" What the hell was that? I don't recall ever hearing that nonsense from Hitlery, but then again, they depend on the voters to have short memories. Then there's the smooth talking Jr. Senator from IL who says that he will remove the troops in Iraq by 2008. Duh, hey junior senator, we usually finish the goddamn wars before we pull out the troops. Can you elaborate on this, just a bit, or hasn't your war chest enough money to complete the thought!
  19. well at least he's is a little more qualified that Giuliani. he's had the reigns of a state for at least a year. wouldn't be enough experience to get you into any other job, but he could do as poorly as Bush. He's mormon, so that means we'll have the first lady....the second lady....the third lady..............
  20. It is exciting to have someone you can vote for and feel like you are making a good choice. In other years it has seemed like our only choices were the lesser of two evils. It's great to have a good, positive choice.
