Public Comments
- Doug Stanhope? Wasn't that the guy from "The Man Show?" He is relevant to my interests.
- Obama, I'm young, half white half black and very against this war for the same reasons he is. plus i trust in him and believe he is sincere.
- None ring my bell. I hope Tom Harkin enters the foray.
- Chuck Hagel....He is rep that I can relate to...he is not afraid to speak out against Bush, even though he is in the same party.....and at the same time supporting our troops.
- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani
- As an Independent, it is either Edwards or Obama.
- Mitt Romney - definitely!
- Mitt!
- Dems: John Edwards-Pres./ Bill Richardson-V.P. Reps: Anyone but John McCain, he bothers me.
- Christine Smith
- For now, my focus lies on Mitt Romney and Duncan Hunter. I think they would be a good match for POTUS and VPOTUS. It's too early to say how they'd fare in the primaries against other candidates and against each other. I believe a good deal of debate (public) will be necessary to pick a true winner.
- "Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton"
- I want Gore to run and win.
- Senator Joe Biden (D – Del). Although he has some controversy surrounding him, he is if not the most qualified candidate one of them. 34 years (1973 – current) of congressional experience including: Former/Current Chairmen of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee - January 3, 2001 - January 20, 2001 / June 6, 2001 - January 3, 2003 / January 3, 2007 – present Where He wrote a number of different pieces of legislation combating Human Rights including the "lift and strike" resolution, as well as, helping outline the proper steps of military action on the war on terror (which were not taken into consideration, by Pres. Bush) Former Chairmen of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee - January 6, 1987 - January 3, 1995 Where he wrote the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, Violence against Women Act of 2000, and the RAVE Act in April 2003. He sits on a number of subcommittees, as well, on some of the most pertinent topics including: Terrorism and Homeland Security, Border Security and Citizenship, Crime and Drugs, and Consumer Rights and Antitrust Competition. Unfortunately he comes from a small state with only 2 electoral votes, his last name isn’t Clinton, and he isn’t the hip or cool vote, not being a woman or minority. He also needs to over come the hurdles of his 1988 Pres. campaign where he did credit some quotes/adaptations from Neil Kinnock in one of his speeches in Iowa during the primaries, eventually admitting to plagiarizing them, even though he had used them in every speech before and had properly credit them in the past. Even though he has a couple of stumbles and skeletons in his career, like everyone else on your list (like every other politician). He is the most qualified out of all of them, based upon Merit, Education, and Experience. It’s a shame he has no chance though because of financial backing, media favoritism, and extenuating circumstances.
- Much to early ,I"d like to hear more about Edward, Brownback,Gingrich',and Huckabee.Right now I would vote for Glen Beck,I like his show.
- Rudy Giuliani.
- I would have to go with Tancredo right now. He is the one that seems the most serious in getting our borders secure, which is the number one security threat to our nation right now.
- Newt Gingrich
- definitely not a democrat or republican, they are the wasted vote for no change and continued bigger government and less civil liberties.I'm voting toward a libertarian minded candidate. LOOK AT YOUR PAYCHECK AND BEND OVER THATS A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN .Vote Libertarian:)
- Either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama...Go Democrats!!!
- Rudy Giuliani
