  1. Good question, DOES IT MATTER? no it doesnt. We swear on what we hold dear and believe
  2. It would have been fine for him to swear on the bible. The mormons just add to the book I think.
  3. whichever one lets him flip flop on his positions
  4. He swore on the Bible from what I remember.
  5. The Bible. The book of Mormons is an additional book and is not their Bible.
  6. First of all it DOESN'T MATTER. Second, the LDS Church does use the same Bible as other Christian denominations do. They simply have one more book than the rest of us and that is the Book of Mormon.
  7. Romney should take one of the numerous chances he has had to declare, as John Kennedy, in a similar situation in 1960 had and took, that his religion does not and will not influence his political or diplomatic decisions. We have all seen where diplomacy based on "faith" gets us, but thusfar Romney has not done what he needs to do.
  8. Mormons believe the Bible is the word of God, so a Mormon would have no trouble swearing no the Bible. I'm sure Romney used the Bible. http://www.allaboutmormons.com
  9. You do know that the LDS church believes in the Holy Bible don't you?
