If you had to choose between George Bush and Mitt Romney for president, who would you pick?
if you had to pick between those two
Public Comments
- BOB BARKER FOR PRESIDENT
- Bush. "Better the devil you know....."
- Romney with or without his magic undies?
- That's a choice that I would not be willing to make. I would prefer to leave the country and live elsewhere.
- who is Mitt Romney?
- The one who isn't George Bush, lets put it that way.
- probably a shetland pony...or maybe winnie the pooh
- I would pick a bullet to the head.
- thats just like playing russian roulette Anthony Pittarelli
- Definitely Mitt Romney
- I would not vote. Period. Barf!
- if it was just between those two I would have to pick Mitt Romney.
- If I had to choose between those two, I'd leave the country.
- I'd have to go with the polygamist.
- Mitt, only because George can't be pres again.
- I would withhold my vote rather than endorse such an ultimatum.
- I'd move to Europe :-)
- Mitt Romney. Why, because at least he had the guts to say. "i am not running for president as a MORMON." he is trying to leave his religion out of it. i think that Fred Flintstone would do a better job than both of them, but i cannot vote for him.
- Romney for a variety of reasons.
- Well I hate George Bush! He is the one who made this crap war! And I don't know who Mitt Romney is.
- could we have another choice please
- I would choose my neighbor...the local grocer...the mail carrier...ANYONE with a clean record over Bush at this point. Right now though...I have to honestly say that I've been extremely busy lately and haven't heard enough of ANY of the candidates platforms to make an informed decision on who I intend to vote for. I'm not one to vote for say...Clinton or Obama just because one is African American and the other is female...or to vote strictly partyline. I'd like to vote for the RIGHT person and I don't care if they're purple, and in the Tupperware party.
- George W Bush is a dead horse, he can't be chosen ever again...horray.
- If?
- Neither. But both would be better than ANY Democrat.
- George Bush! Mitt Romney will screw us all over, just like he's screwed Massachusetts over!!!!!!!!!!
- I'd jump off a bridge.
- Neither
- Well, I'm leaving the country.
- Let's see....Idiot-in-Chief for another 4 years or the half-baked guvna? Here in Massachusetts he was our gov for 4 years.....was gone for close to 2 of them years already campaigning for Prez. If it is between those 2, I'll pass on my right to vote or state a write-in campaign.....Mickey Mouse sounds good to me. By the way, if Romney does get the nomination he'll pick brother Jeb Bush for his running mate. :(
- Mitt
- At least Romney isn't openly working for Cheney... that's how I tell them apart.
- from a strictly religious or spiritual perspective, i'd go with the mormon. they're sharper dressers.
- President Bush has been elected twice and is not eligible to run for a third term. That means he could not be in competition with Mitt Romney. But my question is, why ask questions about politics in a forum on religion and spirituality?
- George - because he is not a flip flopper like Romney; Bush sticks to what he believes in, and doesn't change his mind just for political points. Notice, Bush has not backed down on his beliefs about the war in Iraq, even though his ratings are down into the single digits. He's not about political gain, he's about doing what he believes is right for America. He has integrity. He continues to believe that, in the long run, figting terrorists away from our soil, will save many American lives. And, I agree.
- What a horrid, terrible, disgusting choice!!! I really, really don't know. *brain explodes*
- Fortunately that choice ain't happening. But hypothetically, I would kill myself. Maybe.
- As my husband says, and I agree with him, 'If it were between george w. and satan, I would pick satan'. )o( Blessed Be!
- Mitt Romney is a Mormon. I stopped going to the Mormon church when I, as a young man, asked why there were no blacks or Mexicans in our church (the population of our town was 25% Mexican). A mentor of mine said, "Because they bear the mark of Cane." I didn't realize at the moment that they were talking about melanin, the skin pigment. The Mormon's believe God sorted people out (good and evil) by the tone of their skin color. A good president should know people individually before judging them. And women to Mormon's are there to suppor their husbands. They are relegated to the kitchen for cleaning and cooking, to the bedroom for making ever more babies and if they're real good, they get to make crafts. They are not allowed into the governing body or the church nor are they allowed into the priesthood on a local, regional or national level. With Mitt Romney as president, he could set women's progress back hundreds of years. Maybe he could repeal their rights to vote and make it illegal for them to work outside of the home. I would pick George Bush senior as the president. (You didn't specify). He could be an honorary Democrat.
- This is an impossibilty, we already know we are tired of Bush, Can't put the cart before the horse. Innocent until proven gulity. I still haven't decided if there is less of two evils from either side!!
