What do Republicans think of Mitt Romney for president?

He's pro-life, moderate, and Mormon. I'm liberal, and, to be honest, if the race were between Romney and Hillary, I'd probably vote Romney.

1. They should love him. I can't stand the b-stard. If you like Rudy you'll love Romney. He's is vote getter. He is trying really hard too. He just took over as head of the Big F-up, I mean the Big Dig in Boston, since that lady got killed by a 2-ton slab of cement in the tunnel. That should get some votes.
2. At prima facie he seems pretty good but I do not know enough about him. I really like Rudy Giuliani.

5. I like him on most of the issues, I wonder whether he has enough name recognition to beat Hillary. It has been suggested that conservatives may not vote for a Mormon. I have always heard that from a liberal source so I think it is complete garbage

I WANT TO SEE HIM IN THE SOUTH... seriously... they voted for Bush because he's "a good Christian man"... but when Mormon Romney shows up... it would be interesting... and they NEED the south... "Do you know what Mormon's believe?... here is some of what they believe"... then a long ugly list of stuff... it's politics... it WOULD HAPPEN... but don't take my word for it... try it! (but in all actuality... Rove and the braintrust KNOW THIS... Romney ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE... they can't sell this guy to the base and he could be the greatest guy ever, but they know he won't sell)
7. He moved to Massachusetts just to run for office,is the most ARROGANT Governor the state has ever had,sounds and looks like a used car salesman,helped screw up he Big Dig,lied about it,and has basically been the worst thing to happen to MA in a long,long time. Sorry,man.Hillary by default.
