Mitt Romney?
How Many People (other than me) think Mitt Romney should be next president
Public Comments
- yeah, of the Moprman m,ens club, where they can discuss how to abouse their kids, beat their wives, and how they will live on a planet in outer space with their extended family after they die. Romney is a fraud..
- I do. He is very respectable and did a good job being governor of Massachusetts.
- Based on what I have seen and heard thus far, I would like to see him in office. Sadly, Romney does not have the national presence and name recogination to win. I think that if he does not win the nomanation at the convention in Minneapolis next year, he will be a strong canidate for VP.
- I think he would he was govener of a liberal state so he knows how to work with Democrats.. Cosmo why do libs attack Romny and not question Obamas Muslim roots.
- not me -and in the future list your reasons why you vote for him if you dont know go to www.vote-smart.org and educate yourself as to why you like him - hopefully it is more than that you share the faith
- Not me.
- No thanks. Flip floppey on too many issues, and political opportunist. I don't agree with someone like Dennis Kucinich, but I at least respect the courage of his convictions.
- Call me a religious bigot if you want, but I would never vote for a president that belongs to a weird cult. It calls in to question his judgment. I'd feel the same about Wiccans, Scientologists, Druids, etc.
- Never.
- Hunter is my 1st choice,Mitt's my second choice~
- he's cool. being from MA, I have had the op'ty to witness his governorship. just wish he was more conservative, but he did have to deal with the ultra-libs. what do u expect from a state that re-elects Ted Kennedy.
- CNN said it best this afternoon on their political show that comes on at 4 PM eastern time. They were talking about the 'straw poll' in Iowa, which Romney won Saturday, August 11. Romney spent $2 million dollars in Iowa, compared the the $100,000 spent by the man who came in second. He said he brought ninety relatives to the state to help him campaign (he comes from a VERY large family). And after all of that, the CNN analyst pointed out that for every ONE person who did vote for Romney in Iowa, 650 people did not. They either didn't vote at all, or voted for someone else. I don't think Romney should be president. I think he is a hypocrite, and I think his values are not shared by most Americans.
- i don't know much about his politics- so i don't know- but i would like to say that i think it is really sad that people throw him out as a possibilty soley based on his religous preference. if they don't like his politics- fine- but saying you would never vote for him because he his mormon is everything opposite of what this country was founded on. we all cry out for acceptance, and tolerance and to be treated equally- we want it for ourselves- just not for others that are different than us. it's pathetic. besides what's someones religion got to do with it anyway? there is seperation of church and state in this country- does everyone not remeber that? and who are we to judge what he believes and that his church is a cult? i could believe that YOU belong to a cult- doens't make it true. it's just sad that everything this country was founded on is being thrown out the window at a presidential election. and it doesn't say much about the people that would not vote for someone regardless of his adequacy to run the country well, but based on what building he worships God in. Do we need to have another segregation movement? this time religious? we should all be allowed to drink out of the same drinking fountain. people are so blind to their own prejudices. * edit- to not sharing the same values as most americans... it was stated in LA times, that mitt romeny was the ONLY person running that has had only one wife. all others have had mistresses and or divorced. He has strong moral values, family values, and personal values. He doesn't drink, do drugs, or smoke- he has no substance abuse and a squeeky clean record, he does not practice polygamy, nor believe in it-as all members of the non fundamentalist mormons. what americans are you talking about that don't share these values or wnat these values in someone running the country? if you don't agree with his political stand point fine- but don't try to hide behind " he doesn't share the same values" that's just an uneducated statement.
- I think so yes him good voice strong leader help them explain people make understand listen him speech speak that America strong change way life. Mitt Romney same almost reagan ronald look likey a president so very smartest its.My predict that way Mitt Romney vs Rudy is next preident let go go 08!
- I like Romney, but I'm still having a hard time with him being a Mormon. Joseph Smith was nothing more than a lying con man. I don't like the idea of the leader of the free world following someone like that.
- Romney has many more problems with his stances and actions in the past, that he has to worry about. Fake police badges used in his campaign, a campaign fundraiser indicted in 32 million of fraud, flip flops where he sounds sincere in both directions - make me absolutely not trust him. I thought he was ok at first however. I do not really care about what religion one ascribes to to get them through life. There is another who never divorced, and has been married to his only wife for ~50 years. He also has a great voting record. That guy gets my vote so far.
- um......no.
- Yes. (and it's spelled Mormon, boy.) :)
- I don't kknow if he will win, but he seems to have ansers to every question asked of him.
