Ron Paul is leading in the polls...why the media blackout?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18421356 none of the news networks are mentioning his name but the american people must have heard his message because he leads all of the other candidates in the latest poll. 70% of americans are now against the war. Ron Paul was against the war and the patriot act from the very beginning. or maybe it was his comments on abolishing the illegal IRS that got everyone's attention? it seems that he is the only candidate that is not under the contorl of the new world order. please spread the word because the media will continue the blackout as long as they continue trying to sell us the war

- Ron Paul is not well-known, he has no way to raise at least 100 million to stay in the race, and I'd say he's darker than a darkhorse when it comes to his chances to make a dent in the race. I'm against the war, too, but he needs A LOT of money to get his name out to the public.
- Well, that poll is of people that are informed... the reason the polls show the others so high is because they call random Americans, most of which don't follow politics or just regurgitate who the media tells them they should like. I've noticed this poll as well, and still, haven't heard a single thing about it in the mainstream... I hope it changes.
- You hit it right on. Paul is by far the strongest candidate, the media will be forced to give him time if enough people hear his word. Everyone i know really likes him, both democrats and republicans.
- Oh well if he wants to abolish the IRS then he must be a bang up guy! Sure glad he isnt under the control of the "new world order"!!! I'll vote for him, and then go hide under my mattress for 4 years.
- The facade of Constitutional Republicanism the State is wearing will fade away soon enough. Paul calls far too much attention to the actions of the State, and the fact that it's attempting to dissolve the very foundations of our country. Why are we being sold out to globalists who would tyrannize millions of people for profit? Why allow them to continue to abuse the consent of people to be governed?
- The corporate media. I'm very glad Ron Paul won the post-debate poll. He's unknown, that's the problem. He's a solid candidate, I like his position on 90% of the issues (abolishing the Fed or IRS seems too much, I'd prefer reducing its size to about at least 50% or 33% of what it is now). I've already spread the word about him. I like his stance on illegal immigration, Iraq and the patriot act as well as with cutting taxes. I think there's still time for a change before '08 comes. Thanks!
- Online polls are not scientific & therefore lack credibility. I think people were talking about who did best in the "debate" not who they would vote for. Big difference.
- Mr. Paul is not a schill for the military/industrial complex, which Eisenhower warned us about. Ron Paul is not satisfied with busines-as-usual. The rest of the candidates are, and so are the goons in the mainstream media.
- Maybe you should ask the media. None of the people below know the answer to your question. They're not reporters, nor do they work for the media. They're all just speculating.
- If you think the media will have to notice Dr. Paul, you are wrong. The media is bought and paid for. They control who becomes the leading candidates, and they have already chosen the winners for each party. If their is one thing they are not going to do, it's help put someone in power that cares about America (Dr. Paul). Instead, it will be one of the other nine republicans, or Hillary.
