Ron Paul & the polls, seriously, are these fiqures true???

I just checked infowars.com for the poll standings after the third Gop presidential debate. I support Ron Paul & figured he was in a close race with Romney, BUT, according to this poll it's a runaway for representative Paul. Honest to Christ, & I could'nt beleive it myself, it has Ron Paul at 43.61% compared to a distant second place Tom Tancredo at 21.93%. Mitt Romney was 10.17% & the others ar'nt even worth mentioning! Boy, if this is any indication of reality Ron Paul is gonna pull a Jehovah on the competition!!! Any body else seeing a different poll or heard different? I mean I'm super happy to see this polls percentages in Ron Paul's favor but it just seems way too high in favor of representative Paul. All presidential races, even primaries are ALWAYS resonably close. Is this just a fluke or is Ron Paul really this popular??? Input please...

  1. Sorry I cannot tell you if it accurate... but Ron Paul does rock so hopefully it is true.
  2. Don't get too excited, darlin'....Polls this early on are terribly inaccurate. I'll be voting for him, though. =)
  3. No, he isn't. The poll you saw is only an infowars poll. It is not even close to being a scientific poll.
  4. Hopefully the poll is a true representation of the support that he has (he has mine, he is the best Republican running at the moment). I really never pay attention to polls though, they are always slanted toward whatever the questioner wants.
  5. I have seen a couple of polls (CNN) that show him in front. If I had to vote Republican, I would vote for him.
  6. It is just the internet. A 12 year old can vote on the internet. So can someone in Japan who will never become an American citizen. The real question is: How is he doing with likely Republican Primary Voters (Registered Voters who will bother to show up to vote) in the early Primary Election States? That is what matters. People from other countries cannot vote in those Republican Primary Elections and neither can 12 year olds with a computer.
  7. Of course not. They are a result of a liberal campaign to cause confusion. Let us be honest. He does not even have a slight chance of being nominated. Those who actually run the party do not like him and know he is a loser. They will only nominate someone who they believe has a chance to win. All of the trying in the world cannot get him nominated and is a waste of time.
  8. VOTE RON PAUL.
  9. I'm not sure but I hope he is winning. Ron Paul is the only one exposing the truth. He's the only one that will get us out of dictatorship. He'll lead us to freedom! True freedom!
  10. Your source is Alex Jones' website, infowars.com??? The same guy who rants about the NWO, Bohemian Grove, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, etc? I wouldnt take it too seriously coming from Alex Jones. Hes a nice guy, but hes a bit loony. And I certainly wouldnt trust any polls on his website. Think about it, think about who goes to that site, certainly not the majority of people who watched the GOP debate. Try CNN polls (they hosted the "debate"), theyll probably give you a much more accurate figure.
  11. People may have realized the folly of voting for the lesser of two evils. I hope so.
  12. The support for Ron Paul is huge. But there is a mainstream media blackout on him. Fox, CNN, et al, rarely mention him. If they do, it's only to smear his name. The truth is he has more support than ever! Go Ron Paul!!
  13. These are only accurate for th epeople who took them. It is highly likely that mor elibertarians are now getting involved and voting for Ron then just the republicrats or the democlans. Do not be fooled by the numbers for complacentcy will always breed contempt - then we will be lost for sure. The best way to look at it is to see what the demographice are first and you will know what picture you are seeing. I would venture to say this is from the libertarians and the young folks that know how to use a computer - its skewed. To fix that we need to get massive exposure of Ron. Especially in the main stream media. If this doesnt happen this year then come primary time no one will recognize his name..thus no or few votes will be registered. Time to get the signs out, call the newspapers and tv stations...time to make a stink evertime there is a debate and he isnt invited. Every time one of th eother candidates makes a mistake we should be exposing that....all bad publicity on the other candidates will become good publicity for Ron by default.
  14. I went to infowars and couldn't find the poll. Ron Paul has been leading on most of the internet polls. The polls that have the most standing are the Zogby, Gallup and Reuters polls. If Ron Paul gets one percent of the vote. That means that there are 500,000 people who stand for the Constitution and stand for things like integrity, morals and principles. Ron Paul could start a new revolution like 94.
  15. The figures are probably almost on the mark. He really is very popular. gratefuldead06, go check for yourself on CNN (interactive) polls. There, 60% of the voters say he won the debate.
  16. Because of the media blackout imposed on him, it is that much more important to spread the word about this great man ourselves. He has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress. SPREAD THE WORD, VOTE RON PAUL!
  17. Every online poll that I've checked i.e. msnbc, CNN...and lots of others...have Rep. Paul in the lead by a very large margin. In addition, everyone I speak to that has heard of Ron Paul is behind him. If the Paul supporters (like myself) help get his name out into the public, he has a real chance...even if he has to be a write-in.
  18. I like Paul, he is a true fiscal conservative. However, the Republicans will never give him the nomination because now they're neo-conservatives and not the children of Goldwater.
  19. It is probably more like a poll between Alex Jones listeners. The thing is most older people really don't know who Ron Paul is because they don't know how to use the internet. So I would say no but I would say he is probably the next in line after the 3 headed monster rudy mcromney. Anyway someone had sent me an email saying write on all the dollar bills "who is ron paul?" so when it exchanges hands people will be like "hmm who is ron paul??". Although I haven't done it myself, I have gotten 2 already that have it written on there. Weird huh? Go Paul!!
  20. The internet polls, even if not 100% accurate, will show that there is a large (significant) number of supporters out there for Ron Paul. And it's not only 1 internet poll. There are many. MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, CNN, to name a few. Just do a google search on Ron Paul's polls. Fox news was surprised by the cell phone polls on the first GOP debates when Ron Paul's votes surpassed their favorite Rudy G. and Mitt Romney. Ron Paul has been featured on the Real Time with Bill Maher, on the Comedy Central "The Daily Show", and on "Colbert Report" just recently. Check out Ron Paul's web site: http://www.ronpaul2008.com You are witnessing the beginning of the Ron Paul Revolution!
  21. The question is very simple, WHO WON THE DEBATES? That is determined by who watched the debates and voted in the polls.
