Is Ron Paul Really starting a revolution?

A friend who's name I will not disclose, informed me that Ron Paul has 30% of voters in Alaskan polls, and will probably win the state. HE also said that he will win more states than many other Rupublicans candiates. But my question for him was If Ron Paul only wins one state what kind of rervolution has he started, and in the end who really cares?

  1. Yes he is. He is the best candidate and will be the best president for the country if elected. He is for trade with all nations and tangling alliances with none. Ron Paul 2008!
  2. A revolution to take back our country dude. And you should care.... really.
  3. With the exception of his economic ideals Ron Paul's ideas were obsolete when he was born.
  4. He is trying to promote the idea that freedom is not a government program. And the constitution restricts the government NOT the people.
  5. If he gets elected, he will start a revolution that will lead this countly in the direction that it should be going in.
  6. I think if you stick with the "who really cares" part you'll find that Paul's supporters will be left sputtering things like "Well, WE do!" To which you can reply "So what?" To which they'll reply (something like) "Gee, I guess I dunno."
  7. He is the best candidate, but he will never win. His policies are too radical for most Americans, and the Neo-Cons and religious right will never go for him. He just likes freedom too much. Besides, winning one minor state doesn;t mean anything. On a side note, everyone puts all this hype that Obama is ahead by lke 3% in Iowa, which isn't even a huge state with a large share of votes.
  8. Yes, and it's way way way overdue!!!!
  9. He may or may not start a revolution, but he brings to light alot of serous issues that other candidates won't bring to light or address. I'm not sure how people can call him crazy when the things he addresses are true.
  10. he is for change - his message has ignited people to do the things they wouldnt ordinarily do to get the message to others -his ideas will be with those new to them for the rest of their lives and the change will one day come -so its pretty revolutionary
  11. Ron Paul is not starting a revolution. The modern revolutionaries of the United States have rallied around the Ron Paul campaign in what many consider the last opportunity to salvage what's left of our liberties and freedoms through the democratic process. The Ron Paul campaign attracts people from all sides of the political spectrum that have one (and many times only one) thing in common: distrust and fear of the federal government. Even though many are calling it "The Ron Paul Revolution", I would suggest that a Ron Paul administration would actually minimize or eliminate the need for an actual revolution, because most of the revolutionary types just want their freedom back, and Ron Paul will give it to us. The Revolutionary War was fought by regular folks fighting an oppressive, heavily taxing, corrupt, and unresponsive government. That's not much different than the government of today. There wouldn't have been a Revolutionary War if George Washington could've been elected to the throne of England. We didn't have that opportunity in 1776, but we do in 2008. You only have two choices in 2008: more and bigger government, or Ron Paul. Choose wisely.
  12. Yes, in a way. He's starting a revolution of thinking...and so is my family! See this site: http://www.losthorizons.com/Newsletter.htm
  13. a revolution wow that's something, there hasn't been a revolution in this country since i was a boy, golly a revolution
  14. I care because I vote my conscience.
  15. Only in his own mind!
