Is the "Ron Paul Revolution" just the beginning?
Do you think that a significant amount of today's college-aged people will embrace libertarianism? Will they admire self-reliance and defiance of the government? Or will the human race become "domesticated". About abortion, I'm personally opposed. State sponsered abortion is not acceptable. Telling someone you can't kill your children is hardly invading your privacy. Nick F- don't be fooled by the mainstream media. First off all, the Democrats are just as bad. Seccond of all, Ron Paul is a "one man band" in congress. trust me.

- It's the first time I've cared about politics, so for me, yes.
- who is ron paul?
- I think we are at a critical time, and we need to legitimize a 3rd party more then ever if not now, when? ... I hope this is a beginning
- Ron Paul '08 = Howard Dean '04 that's the impression I get
- You do know Ron Paul is an abortion opponent, right? I do want smaller government too.
- I'm hoping the college-aged people will stay home on voting day.
- Educated people don't go for loonies like Ron Paul. Your "Ron Paul Revolution" is over before it got started. Most college students will ask "Who" when you ask them about Ron Paul. That is indicative of the whole country. Currently he is below 1% in the polls. That is quite a climb to make a popular revolution.
- I like some of this guys policies (decreasing size of federal government etc), but to be honest the fact that he is a republican raises questions in my mind, I have a very hard time supporting ANY republicans after bush, the fact that they continue to support bush is a big black mark to me.
- Ron Paul doesn't even figure in the polls because his support is so low. Plus, libertarians are just confused conservatives.
- American's are sheep. Unless the guy has a ton of money (Ross Perot, Michael Bllomberg) or is a name ( Jessie Ventura), the person will not be ellected and there ideas will be plowwed over in modern society. It is unfortunate, but it is a fact. Even with money, how many people do you know that support the Reform Party today?
- 'Just the beginning' ? No , more like a farce . The kids will age and more importantly , mature . When that happens , this will all look silly to them .
- Ron Paul - Only in your fantasies.
- Many Americans both Democrat and Republican find themselves in agreement with men like Ron Paul. It is only the beginning in the regard that finally people with these serious ideas are becoming a more vocal group ...and rightly so. I think we should have more options than A or B. Especially considering A & B have been corrupted by the corporate take over of the U.S. government.
- Remove the " not " from your avatar if you are for Ron " legalize pot " Paul. He is not a Representative of main stream America.
- Is this Ron Paul the anti-christ or what? H e is all I have heard about, for the last few months! What is wrong with him? there has to be something! NO ONE IS THIS PERFECT! Frankly, someone who gains power, and mystifies so many, so quickly? Unsettles me!
- This is like the Goldwater movement, part 2.
- Ron Paul is a merely footnote in history much like Ross Perot He lacks the fortitude required to hunt down the enemy. And he won't win many converts by blaming 9/11 on the USA instead of the terrorists I respect his position on 2nd Amendment issues - gun rights are non-negotiable. But the rest of his platform leaves much to be desired
- yes. studies show that libertarianism is growing, with college aged people as leading the way. the internet and the ron paul campaign are introducing libertarianism to many people for the first time. The movement will continue to grow and elect more libertarians like ron paul in the future.
