Who is planning to get onboard the Ron Paul Revolution?
Regarding politics, Ive long been of the mindset that 'yeah it sucks, but the system has been set up so far beyond the peoples reach that we are now just long for the ride and can truly do nothing but take it and try to enjoy our own private lives'. Thinking as such, Ive never voted in an election. However, the current buzz about Ron Paul got me interested and after listening to him speak in over 20 hours of videos and researching his voting record, I firmly believe that change is possible and Dr. Paul is our last hope. Yet because the media actively diverts attention away from him, I feel that in order to make his candidacy possible it's going to require all the people like me sitting at our computers who would normally sit back and watch it all happen in disgust to GET UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. A large % of America has never heard of him, but with his giant grassroots support, that can change. Dont just assume others will do it for you. Take a stand, and fight any way you can

- Ron Paul seriously needs to get back to his doctor's office and leave politics to the politicians..
- Ron Paul is the man. I disagree with some of his ideas. But he has integrity and has consistently voted with the Constitution in mind rather than corporate interests. That's more important to me than whether or not I agree with him on abortion.
- I will support Ron Paul he is the best person that has run for office in to many years!!!!
- You are correct. Ron Paul is the key to the freedom of the People of the Republic of the United States of America. He will free us from the central bankers and the other billionaire crooks who have hijacked our nation. Since the American media is owned and controlled by the same billionaires that have hijacked our government, they are not going to give Ron Paul the coverage he deserves because he represents a direct threat to them. My prediction is that even if Ron Paul were to win the election with the most votes, the billionaire gangsters that run America will rig the election to their favor. It will take an uprising of Americans and actual KILLING to restore the sovereignty of American into the hands of the people. Voting will never work.
- sorry bub, you're on the wrong train...this guy is a "blame america first republican", and an isolationist despite his rhetoric and will be a distant memory by the time a candidate is chosen. by all means though, stand and fight. you never know...he may receive enough notice to get a janitorial job at the new president's white house.
- You are right in calling it a Revolution. NEO-CONS think you are a traitor unless you believe that Iraq is the "Frontline of the War on Terror." It is the frontline of getting companies with government contracts fatter, that's for sure. Follow the money!!!! Iraq has as much to do with 9/11 as Michael Vick has to do with the ASPCA.
- Yes I will vote for him in my state's primary.. I am IMPRESSED... Republican or Democrat, I have almost never seen a candidate who is so honest and relativistic in his/her thinking, and who doesn't try to please the public but says the things exactly as s/he believes them. If you believe in lower taxes, are anti-war, against the patriot act, and believe in honest government who looks out for our well being not their own self interests this is the man for you! EDIT: darwinman, he suggested we reevaluate American foreign policy. In no way did he "blame America first" The CIA/9/11 Commission report both confirmed that the our foreign policy has unintended consequences called blow back, he asked we be aware of this. If you think that equates to blaming America for our problems with terrorism, then you need to get your hearing checked. And Congressman Paul’s non-interventionism is not isolationism. In case of an imminent threat to the United States, he would take the necessary steps to protect us, even military action as he did after 9/11. He voted in favor of entering Afghanistan in a direct response to the attacks. He advocates using diplomacy/trade with countries around the world.. not secluding ourselves..
- He may be the only conservative holding national office.
- I can defintily hear you on that first paragrapgh. Except i vote 3rd party 60% of the time. This way I am on the record as being dissatisfied. I been on the Paul train for 2 months now.
- Although I am a bit upset at both major parties I am not a supporter of Ron Paul for president. There are several other actual Republican candidates I can more easily support. I respect Ron Paul as a member of Congress and would like him to remain in that office. I don't think he could be effective at all as a president, however, since he would have little influence in Congress on either side of the aisle. If you want the system to change for the better, I feel most of that change has to come in the composition of the Congress. I think a viable third party, or a replacement party for the Republican Party would be a development I could support. But the president cannot function without the support of a significant part of the Congress, and negotiation is a critical part of that process. The media does ignore Ron Paul, but much of that is because he stands a greater chance of being able to walk on water than he does of winning the nomination much less the presidency. The media will take interest in a candidate who has a chance of winning, and Ron Paul doesn't.
- No way! Neocon all the way!!!
- If he has a firm 8% now, we each only need to find 2 more people to put him in the lead
