Why do people support Ron Paul for president?

Congressman Ron Paul (R) is seeking the Republican nomination. Why is it a good idea to support him? Republicans support him: You believe in abortion and immigration laws but still think thats its time the party of small government acted like it. Ron Paul has never voted to raised taxes and is the most economically conservative of all choices. He understands that every time the government spends money, yours is worth less forcing you to work harder. Democrats support him: Ron Paul has come out more against the war than even the front line Democrat candidates. He is also against the Patriot Act, REAL ID, and the NAU. If Ron Paul wins the nomination you have a anti-war candidate vs a anti-war candidate in the general election and the war will end. Libertarian support him: Your concerned about the fraud that is the Federal Reserve and government spending. You believe in freedom and peoples right to run their own life. You also support Ron Paul even though he is a quasi-libertarian. I guess there are people out there who may not know.. look here. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=RonPaul2008dotcom

  1. ron who
  2. Because their dislexic and think he's Rue Paul
  3. I consider myself generally socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I like Ron Paul, smartest Republican running in my opinion, and a REAL Republican.
  4. Ron Paul would be the best damn president ever!! Unfortunately, he will need a lot more support. He's definately got my vote though.
  5. Paul's opposition to the Federal Reserve, NAU, Real ID, and taxes are plus marks for him. His opposition to the Patriot Act and the war against terrorism gives me pause to think he would be soft on surveillance of terror groups operating inside the US with less than savory intentions. It also sends a red flag that he would continue the work Bill Clinton did of dismantling our military capability and readiness; not to mention that he might not react with force to an attack on Americans worldwide much the way Clinton feebly demonstrated.
