Do you support Ron Paul for President in 2008?

If you do then why not go ahead and change your username on Answers to "R.Paul08" It all shows up and everyone can see it. Then put this link in your profile. http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Ron+Paul&hl=en What I'd like to know though is HOW on the planet could anyone who values freedom NOT want Ron Paul as the next President of the USA? . It is a fact that Ron Paul votes NO on everything. But there is a reason. It's because EVERYTHING they are doing in Washington DC is unconstitutional and therefore illegal. Basically, Ron Paul is the only Patriot/NON-traitor in Washington DC.

  1. Help me out here - what's a Ron Paul?
  2. He's the only Republican candidate that doesn't make me vomit. I hope he gets your nomination.
  3. While I don't agree with everything he promotes I would sure like to see views get national attention and I hope he does well.
  4. I don't find it difficult at all to NOT want Ron Paul! I live where he supposedly represents us and I can tell you for a fact, the only agenda he has/had revolved around voting "NO" on every bill that came up. Dr. No. So "No thanks!" I'm deeply sorry I voted for him this last time around and if I had it to do over my vote would have been for his opponent Shane Sklar. Ron Paul will never again get a vote from me.
  5. Dr. No was my representative before I moved and I still have relatives living down in his area. In fact, my son works in the marine industry. Dr. No so alienated people in the funding processes for Corp. of Engineers funding in his area that they completely cut off all funds to his area for maintenance of the GIWW. ALL funds just to HIS area! Is this someone we would want as President? Not on your life! Just ask people from his district who work at ports, for tow companies, shipping concerns. You won't get any of them who will give you warm fuzzy feelings for him. The heat from his past "No's" make him unelectable so save your breath trying to drum up support.
  6. He may be for freedom, but he is against democracy - as he opposes getting rid of the Electoral College - He supposedly represents the interests of his district in Texas - but Texas is a red spectator state in presidential elections - The candidates ignore it after the primaries, because they assume it is going to vote Republican.
  7. While Ron Paul may be an honorable man, he is TOTALLY clueless about the folks in his congressional district. He has managed to get cross ways with just about everyone in DC who has control over funds. Specifically, funding to keep ports and waterways open. This directly impacts the very LIVELIHOOD of over TEN THOUSAND people!! We are talking BILLIONS of dollars in business revenue, wages and salaries, etc. Ron Paul's district in Texas is dying on the vine because he does his best to ensure as few of the tax dollars his constituents pay into the Fed Gov't come back to his district! He would rather vote NO (Dr NO!) and ensure the money went to a project in another state than support his own people! Ron Paul for President.....what a scary, scary prospect!
  8. If you want a civil war, I guess Ron Paul is your candidate.
  9. He has my vote should he win the Republican nomination. www.ronpaul2008.com
  10. I like his idea on ditching the Federal Reserve and 16th amendment, but thats about it. I support Duncan Hunter!
