Democrats and Republicans....Should you consider Ron Paul for president?

personally, I am not affiliated to any one party. I wait and see what every side (not just dems and reps) has to offer. Sometimes its a republican, sometimes a democrat, sometimes a greeny etc. I think I have found who I want as our president. Ron Paul. 1. Voted against the Iraq war. 2. Wants to become non-interventionist nation (just like we used to be) 3. Wants limited gov't. (I know some of you will oppose this, but I think its a good thing) 4. Wants to get rid of the income tax (which only pays off the interest on the debt created by our gov't.....it doesn't go to any programs) 5. Though there are many other reasons, I would lastly like to say that he is simply a good and honest man...you can tell by the way he speaks. it isn't that phony political babble we are so accustomed to. Please, but aside your "loyalty" to whatever party you are affiliated with and seriously consider him. I think that that is more important to many of the other pertinent issues. Do keep in mind that you aren't going to agree with everything about each candidate...right?

1. He also thinks the science is not yet settled on global warming - thus rendering himself an idiot. He's gotta keep up with Great Ceasar's Ghost.
2. Every American should consider every candidate. That said, Ron Paul deserves serious consideration.

6. Right now, I will consider anyone other than those already running - on both sides!! If someone good doesn't throw his hat into the ring soon, we are screwed!! The current Democrat and Republican candidates aren't worth the gas used in driving to the poles to cast a ballot.
7. Republicans are desperate and have pushed Paul out front because they have no one else who resonates with Americans. They have worked to destroy American for years. Neocons will wind up using Ron Paul as a puppet to the same fascist ideals. The Republicans don't deserve another Presidency. Find some other icon-- no one needs what Ron Paul is affiliated with -- Neofascist Republicans. And he should stay away from running on an independent ticket as well. That's cheating ala Lieberman "the schemer".
8. No. I like that he's against international intervention, and I wish more of our politicians were. But he has said some pretty nasty racist things in the past, so I could not support him.

11. Unfortunately, being a 'good man' just isn't enough these days. He'd just become another Jimmy Carter. He just doesn't understand How Things Work. 1. Like it or not, the war in Iraq is necessary, and was from the start. 2. Every time the US becomes non interventionist, we get attacked. WWI AND WWII started with us as bystanders. Even the War of 1812 started out that way. We may not like it, but we are too big to try to hide from the world. 3. Okay, THAT's a Good Thing. But it's also something controlled by Congress, not the Presidency. 4. EVERYBODY wants that. But how ya gonna DO it? 5. Name a candidate who isn't a 'good man' in SOMEONE's eyes. 12. Well, now I KNOW that he's getting to be a major candidate all of a sudden. Otherwise, there wouldn't be all these false rumors floating around. So, quickly, let me dispell a few: 1. He isn't a racist, and has never made any racist comments. That I know to be 100% true. 2. The neo-cons have worked hard to isolate him in the Republican party because of his strong opposition to the neo-con agenda, and the neo-cons in particular. He is well-known as the enemy of the neo-cons. 3. He hasn't really taken a position on global warming one way or the other that I'm aware of. But, I guess its a good sign to see all these lies floating around. It means the campaign is taking off. Now I just hope that it won't die as quickly as Howard Dean's did last election. I mean, really, whatever you think about the guy, is it really sensible to pull your support from him just because he let out a yell? Really? Anyway, Dr. Ron Paul is pretty awesome, so I hope you will all check out his campaign.

15. Absolutely. The rich hate him. Congress hates him. The CIA hates him. The media big 4 hate him. And the Neo-Con Nazi regime hates him. So yes. I will vote for Ron Paul. He is the only choice to regain freedom in this country.
16. If I thought it would give me some peace from all the ravenous Ron Paul supporters, I would vote for him in a heart beat. Alas such is not the case. I think that both parties should consider Ron Paul for President. In the process they will find some things that they agree with. They will also find some of his stances they dissagree with, or that some other candidate will do better at. Ultimately I will not be voting for him, and in spite of how loud and boisterous Ron Paul supporters get I don't think he can make it to the White House.
17. Ron Paul is a favorite to win the US Presidency because of his anti-Iraq war stance and views on critical issues. VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
18. I've read up on all of the candidates, and Ron Paul is the only Republican I would vote for, but he has 3 major issues that I do not agree with. I'm not affiliated with a party, either, but for me the one person I think would do the best job would be Obama. I like that he listens to all of us and I don't have any problems with any of the issues he is dealing with. Obama was also against the war from the beginning. If your guy does not get the nomination, please take a moment to look at Obama. He's more middle of the road than you might think, and the money he raised from his campaign did not come from lobbyists or PACs-it came from people-a lot of it in small amounts, because the people couldn't afford to send large sums. His book "The Audacity of Hope" is very good, and I think he could unite our country with his bipartisan policies. He wants us to have intelligent conversations on policies and issues, instead of the usual bickering: to hear each other out and state why we think the way we do.
