Ron Paul-mania is here to stay?

#1 at all the internet polls, #1 at most straw polls, I have never seen so many cars with bumper stickers having 'Ron Paul 2008' on it, Democrats are registering Rep. only to vote for Dr. Ron Paul, Independent voters are also registering and are only interested in voting for Ron Paul. Everywhere you go there is a Ron Paul fan! Is the Ron Paul-mania here to stay? I think so, What do you think? Ron Paul fever is everywhere!(you don't believe me? 1. If you call 6% in the national polls mania...what do you call the candidates running at 20 something percent? Straw polls mean absolutely nothing. Definition of straw poll; an unofficial vote, especially taken on the spot among a small number of people, to get some idea of the general opinion on a specified issue. basically Ron Paul supporters are asked to go to a website and vote for him....unfortunately for him when a real election is held....he doesnt get enough votes to even be considered relevant
  2. I will say you will know the answer to your question ibn a bit over a month. I am doubtful, but hopeful. Way too many people still don't understand the guy.
  3. i was looking at the iowa caucas results so far and ron paul on got 2% of the votes. romney got like 42%, huckabee 35% and thompson 21%. the numbers dont lie
  4. so your "proof" to validate your point is a youtube video?,Kids can vote on the internet, not in real life..in the real world you vote once, not as many times as you like...straw polls don't reflect the majority because they can be made to favor one candidate depending on who does the straw poll...I don't need to answer your question, the iowa caucus will do it for me tommorrow. P.S OH WOOW a sign on the side of a parade!! i even thought you had something better to show.
  5. There will always be fringe voters. I tend to disregard fringe candidates as I regard them as a wasted vote. They cannot get elected and it is better to vote for a candidate who has a reasonable chance of winning an election in order to get some of the things you agree with enacted.
  6. NOPE, after he loses the IOWA caucus he will be forgotten!
  7. Ron Paul has more young voters out there than any other candidate, voters who do not participate in mainstream media polls. He is going to win big in Iowa, I predict a 1st place or 2nd place there....the big surprise for those who do not believe.
  8. No, he's toast.
  9. Ron Paul has certainly created a grassroots movement like we haven't seen in recent political history - nobody will dispute that fact. Just a look on your local streets will show Ron Paul support dominating others. Internet polls don't necessarily translate to support, most are not reliable. However, major main stream media backed telephone polls don't translate to support either for that matter - they can be easily skewed through omitting certain demographics. Straw polls aren't a very good source, but they do indeed represent actual people showing up to actually vote (whether that vote is "real" or not). All the Ron Paul haters will forever use the major poll numbers to say he doesn't have a chance, no matter how rediculous the methods involved in the polling are. While I do believe the Ron Paul-mania is here to stay, I say to both his supporters and his haters - JUST WAIT FOR THE POLL RESULTS THAT MATTER - THE PRIMARIES AND CAUCUSES.
  10. The proof of your claim will be after the primaries if, and that's a really big if, Ron Paul is even on the ballot anymore. Remember how P. Diddy did the Vote or Die campaign on MTV, well that didn't get out the younger voters, so what makes you think that an old man who avoids answering questions will get them to leave their nice comfortable homes to "Rock the Vote"? Don't be a drone, think for yourself!
  11. This is the Democracy that USA want export ??? a Country were Dead People Votes and real people (Black Communities-Florida) dissappeared, only half of legals voters Participe, the rest don't even stop their rutine job or nostlagic lifes, with NO hopes, don't care to do a Change, were a 12 million of ilegales walked without Health benefits, schools, Jobs living in a Limbo, plus the Country in a State of WAR...No really I don't know WHO is Paul Ron ?
  12. It doesn't matter if he wins or not, Goldwater never became president but his ideals lived on for many years.
  13. "Ron Paul-mania" -- did you think this up by yourself? #1 at the internet polls? Internet polls have no control, just change computers (or clear your cache) and vote again. #1 in the straw polls? So? A straw poll has a non binding result, and in certain situations when there are no voting controls, it can be "overloaded" just like an internet poll. In truth, Ron Paul is so UNPOPULAR that Fox News has DROPPED him from the line up for the next debate, and unless he finishes in 4th place or better in the Iowa Caucus, he'll be dropped from any future ABC News debates, too. It's not like he hasn't had a chance... "You will have had a year's politicking," Charlie Gibson of ABC News said. "You will have had, I think by count, about 641 debates. You will have had national polls and state polls and one state's vote. I think that's pretty indicative." Face the facts, Paulistinans -- the game is over.
  14. It doesn't matter because there is a ton of proof, beyond a reasonable doubt, that both the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen in Ohio. Bush actually lost the popular vote both times. Our leaders are "selected" not "elected."
  15. I Totally Agree With You! Now it's up to "We the People" to get him into the Oval office next Jan. 2009,,,,,by outvoting the naysayers. RON PAUL == Hope For America! *******************************************************
  16. I hope he is here to stay. In my opinion, a wasted vote is one that you give to a person who has the most votes and not necessarily the best opinions. Many people agree with Ron Paul's supporting of the Constitution, yet many do not know of him because he is portrayed as a lunatic by the mainstream media and they ignore him when possible. This makes his supporters go out and advertise by themselves. And please, don't vote for someone because they are popular, vote for someone who you agree with.
  17. Who watches mainstream media anyway? Please! remember: The revolution will not be televised. Vote for Ron Paul! History in the making! Iowa 4 Ron Paul!
  18. Ron Paul movement is spreading like wildfire. He will get AT LEAST 3rd place in Iowa and NH. After that it will be silly for the media to keep ignoring him.
  19. According to yahoo, ron paul is in the lead for ohio voters, my state. Very soon you will know the answer; im hoping he gets a spot in the election, yes, im a ron paul supporter.
  20. I absolutely adore Ron Paul. I notice that "ohiofire" seems to scour the place looking for Ron Paul questions he can flame. He seems to always be among the first few replies, too. Isn't that interesting?
  21. I don't think the rEVOLution is going to leave anytime soon. His supporters are loyal, and he is also gaining more voters. Not to mention that they are very generous to his campaign. In other words- Once you go Ron, you don't go back
