Ron Paul supporters... did you know this? Time to write FOX news.?
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – According to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2008. “Given Ron Paul’s support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited.” Snyder continued, “Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul from this event.” PLEASE write Fox news yourcomments@foxnews.com Make sure you put your question in the subject line "Why aren't you including Dr. Ron Paul in your Jan 6th Republican forum?" source: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-releases yes... Thomas S. you're right: please do not be rude or obnoxious in your emails. Tell them why you believe in Ron Paul and tell them he should be included in the forum. People already think he and his supporters are too extreme, so don't sound crazy even though this is a very frustrating event. I bet they thought the founding fathers were crazy fighting the British too, right?

- i wouldn't touch fox news with a 10 foot stick..besides it's not Fox news, it's the warmongering elite (same folks that pull the strings for Fox and CNN)--take a look at the time-line, look what happened to Mike Gravel...the same EXACT thing is happening to Paul, and I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary was in on it though not solely responsible.
- THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! If the republicans ever want to shut the man's supporters up, they need to let him speak. Every time he opens his mouth, he proves that he is a nutcase. He needs OPEN EXPOSURE to hang himself. Of course with what 3% support in the polls, it will not matter soon anyway.
- anyone know the reasons really? cause i dont?
- I asked a Ron Paul question yesterday and I think all 12 of his YA supporters answered, bottom line is Ron Paul will not be elected, America doesnt even know who he is. It is an interesting piece of conversation here but Ron is wasting our time, what I want to know is who will his supporters vote for or will they sit out the election looks like some of those same 12 are on this question, the outcome is the same, Ron goes home a loser
- It's a serious venture for the Republicans, they don't play in politics, and I am surprised they allowed him to get what he got this far. But, I don't think it is as simple as not liking him, it is his associations and a host of other issues, which is not what the party wants to deal with. They want to win, even if they don't - so let it go. Look at the comment below mine: When the party makes up their mind, sh*t flows downhill. All those on the local side of it will do as they are told. That, is, the bottomline. Don't make it worse for him, nothing will work now. Ask Ron Paul what happened, and I know he won't tell, but he knows.
- I tried to find the other side of it -- some explanation from the NH party or Fox -- and came across this (which I admit I found amusing): "I can confirm through Republican sources that indeed Ron Paul WAS NOT invited to this debate. However, the New Hampshire GOP and its Chairman Fergus Cullen, is getting targeted by Ron Paul supporters and IT IS NOT THEIR DOING. You have crashed their servers and melted their phone lines, and they are not responsible. Please stop immediately!" http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/Editorial-Page.htm?InfoNo=028334 I would have to differ with the writer. They do bear some responsibility. All they have to do is refuse to participate unless all of their nominees are invited; that they choose to engage with Fox means they implicitly endorse Paul's exclusion. Disclaimer: I'm not republican nor a fan of Ron Paul.
- I heard that he did not meet the criteria to be in the debate. I cannot remember exactly what it was though, nor do I know who drew up this criteria.
- I thought this was false earlier today, saw it while at work, but it was unsubstantiated. What is FOX's problem? Did they get tired of him winning their little text msg poll everytime?
- His ideas are radical-that is why people like him. Mainstream hates radical. It threatens their power base. Politicos, big business, and big media are really in bed. You are not supposed to take a baseball bat to a pillow fight.
- Ron Paul is not even a consideration to most voters.
- fox has sunk to a new low and while i would say i watched them from time to time i wont from now on. and while i know they dont care i do. i just deleted them from my tv.
- I will be sure to thank them that once they were right. Ron paul is a fool and is never going to be president
- Wonder if the blowback from this will be more media time? Ron Paul getting interviews on other networks due to FOX's audacity? I hope so, there is a silver lining in almost everything. Keep your chin up, FOX is outing themselves for who they really are (gatekeepers), and cannot gauge his support because it's so different. I watched a documentary called "Spin" by Brian Springer, and the networks did this to another candidate as he started polling higher in the early primary states. There was no internet at the time, so nothing could be done. EDIT: I think it was caused by a devious blog, with which the AP ran the news report with. The full story is here. http://www.nolanchart.com/article797.html
- I sent them an e-mail saying I would protest thier advertiser's as a result if they don't include Mr. Paul in New Hampshier.
- Other than the few supporters in this forum that push for him on an hourly basis, who cares? Its not like he is a real contender for the position. He is too extreme and his ideas are a little outrageous. Some of the things he has said in the media make me question his stability.
- Mission accomplished. This is just like Ralph Nader being excluded from the debates when he was a candidate. ALL candidates should be heard PERIOD!!!!!
- I wouldn't trust Faux "news" to tell me what day it is. Exclusion is actually a compliment.Bill-o and Bill Kristol are a couple of goobergobblers.
- UH, excuse me? FCN is only broadcasting the debate, not choosing the participants. Or didn't your narrow vision see that?
