Ron Paul rules!!! yes or no
Public Comments
- He's not going to make it past the primaries and I'm a registered democrat. So, no, I won't be voting for him.
- Absolutely NOT!!! Ron Paul is an "ostrich" who thinks humans have an innate capacity for total goodness. (Just be nice and "dialogue" with our enemies... they will learn to love us!) He is naive and would be willing to put the security of our citizens at risk by his presuppositions.
- I'd sooner vote for RuPaul....
- yes he is awsome!!!!!
- I keep hearing about him and know nothing about him. Sorry.
- NO U IS A LOSER SON
- Never. Ron "the libertarian" Paul's 15 minutes of shame are over.
- He has my vote!!
- Ron Paul 2008!
- Ron Paul is running for nomination as the Republicans candidate for president. He'll never make it because he doesn't have the necessary millions of dollars to get the votes. You can vote for the guy but it will be a pure waste of time. The best way to handle these elections is to understand that while its all well and good to participate from an ideological standpoint, but to participate from the standpoint of what's going to do you the most good in the long run personally in your short lifetime, ideology really doesn't matter. For one thing, ideology doesn't matter because these elections are really all about money, not ideology which is why the candidates have so much trouble expressing ideologically consistent viewpoints on relavent issues of the day. Put another way, these candidates aren't idealists, they are purely opportunists which means that in order to do the best for your self personally, you need to be an opportunist yourself. How do you do that? First, do the best you can at figuring out who might win both parties nominations for president; second, support both of the front runners and work your way in with their campaigns. Second, if you've been lucky enough to "back" a winner, then you spend the next year working for that campaign. Third, if your lucky enough to work for the guy or gal who wins the Presidency, you'll be in the loop for appointment to a cushy do not kind of job with their administration or with the government! It's all very political in that you've got to some how tie your star to the winning horse and at the same time, figure out who the key players are and suck up to them. But the rewards can be enormous. Good Luck!
- Where does he stand on gun issues?
- YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- You surely must be kidding!
- PRESIDENT OF WHAT? He is probably qualified to be water boy at the World Series.
- Seriously, Ron Paul is the last chance for our republic to survive. Mark my words
- Yes I will. He is a strict consitutionalist and will protect your right to bear arms for the guys who asked where he is on gun issues. He will also get rid of federal taxation and implement the fair tax program. And to the Idiots on here who waste their time writing down that he isn't going to win why would you rather spend your time just saying stuff like "Ron Paul is running for nomination as the Republicans candidate for president. He'll never make it because he doesn't have the necessary millions of dollars to get the votes. You can vote for the guy but it will be a pure waste of time." First of all your an idiot for saying it is a waste of time to vote for someone who is good. Because the lesser of two evils is still evil you idiots. Corporations are ruining America and if we just sit back like dumb sheep then we are future generations will always remember how we just gave up. Also addressing Ron Paul as being Naiive I strongly disagree. He is more educated and intellegent about the entire middle east situation. You are brainwashed into thinking he is soft just because he doesn't agree with our foreign policy. He will protect us with full force if we were in war. Not half ass it like President Bush and then delay on getting out of the region when it is time to go. He will declare war not just invade the country without thorough thought planning. Besides that he would have the help of the people he appoints which I guarantee aren't going to be such clowns like bush has. (All of the current administration is under some sort of legal investigation if you couldn't tell) Also to say it is a waste of time to vote or support Ron Paul. Why are you wasting your time to go out of your way to tell us not to support him. Its not happening...BUT thanks for the fuel biatches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has my vote support and that of my entire family and all my friends.

- Ron Paul is an OB-GYN by trade. What makes a guy who spent his career looking at p*ssy think he's qualified to be president? Wait a minute. Bill Clinton was president for 8 years. Never mind......
- For all of you that are ignorant about Ron Paul, you should check out his new book "A Foreign Policy of Freedom" There is one and only one voice in Congress for a foreign policy of freedom, and it belongs to Ron Paul, who has stood alone for freedom for many years. Ron is the seemingly impossible: a voice for reason and truth in a den of thieves. A Foreign Policy of Freedom is his 372-page manifesto, a collection of inspired statements to the House of Representatives that show him to be the most consistent and morally responsible politician, perhaps, in the whole of American history. This book takes on a special significance with his 2008 run for the US presidency. Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr., writes the introduction. Recently, you might have heard Ron condemning foreign aid, the Iraq War, our vast and needlessly growing military budgets, bombings of this country and that, troops in most all countries in the world, and all the other meddlesome activities of the US empire. This foreign policy, Congressman Paul has pointed out, is contrary to American ideals, diminishes American liberty, and ends up making worse the very problems it seeks to alleviate. But did you know that Ron has been delivering this message through thick and thin from his first day in Congress in 1976 until the present day? That's 31 years of prophetic warnings, 31 years of courageous stands against the tide, 31 years of being proven right by subsequent events. There are no flip-flops, backpeddles, regrets, or coverups. He has told the truth again and again, no matter what it cost him. In the middle of the Cold War, he decried the endless streams of subsidies from the US to communist governments. At the same time, he stood firm against aid to insurgents seeking to overthrow those regimes. He sensibly pointed out that the Soviet Union would collapse if it had to face financial reality, and an end to US aid would make that possible. He has been a stickler on the power of the presidency, refusing to grant the president authority to start wars without Congressional approval. Herein you will find a chronicle of hypocrisy. Paul condemned the policy that subsidized Saddam Hussein, and the policy that waged war on Iraq and killed Saddam. The same is true of Noriega in Panama and the "freedom fighters" in Afghanistan who later made up the shock troops of Al-Qaeda. "Our experiment with foreign policy interventionism has failed, just as our experience with domestic economic interventionism has failed," he said in 1982. He said the same in mid-1990s. "War, and the threat of war, are big government's best friend," he wrote only recently. "Liberals support big government social programs, and conservatives support big government war policies, thus satisfying two major special interest groups. And when push comes to shove, the two groups cooperate and support big government across the board — always at the expense of personal liberty. Both sides pay lip service to freedom, but neither stands against the welfare-warfare state and its promises of unlimited entitlements and endless war." In many ways, this book is a history of a quarter century of folly, told by a man who saw what others did not, and had the temerity to state his view publicly. No voice for peace has been as consistent in the demand that government stop its intervention across the board. No supporter of free markets has been so determined to apply the logic of liberty to all aspects of foreign policy. This book makes Ron Paul's place in history. There has never been anything so forthright, truth telling, and ultimately devastating from a US politician. Not since Taft has there been a book like this, and this one makes Taft's own classic seems vague and abstract by comparison.
