1. I am a Dem but this guy makes sense. Saw him on "Morning Joe" the other day.
2. This isn't a question... But regardless... I'll say a few things about Ron Paul... I like him... I think he's got the right idea about smaller government... and right now he is the ONLY candidate proposing returning to a limited federal government, the way the founders intended... I personally think he's the only person in Washington who has actually got any idea about what the Constitution says... I support his position on taxes, balanced budget, free trade, and greater states rights, universal healthcare, the war on drugs, REAL ID act... But his one downside is that he is sort of an isolationist... he's against the US being part of both the UN and NATO... and while I support eliminating the UN, as it has been nothing but the world's greatest waste of money, I do support NATO... espically with the re-emergence of Russia as a serious threat to global security. Also, while being for free trade he is against NAFTA, CAFTA, and the WTO... which seems illogical. Yes NAFTA, CAFTA and the WTO are not perfect systems, but they are moving us in the direction of free trade. I'm so torn this upcoming election... I hate all the democrats, dislike most of the republicans, don't believe any third party has a snowball's chance in hell of getting elected... Ron Paul is probably the guy I like the most... but his isolationism is a big strike against him... guess I'll have to wait until a little closer to the election to make a decision...
