How could anyone NOT vote Ron Paul 2008...?
How could anyone oppose any view of Dr. Ron Paul who has sternly held his same views time and time again. This man is out to ABOLISH the IRS and Federal Reserve. That alone should get Ron overwhelmingly elected. That would mean that the illegal income tax you willingly pay now would be abolished along with any rights the IRS thinks they have to come and steal your things if you do not BOW to them! That also means that our Treasury could go back to printing currency based on the gold and silver we have in reserve instead of our economy growing deeper in debt to the World Bankers (A/K/A Federal Reserve) and other world governments we BORROW from. He will replace the IRS and Federal Reserve with NOTHING!!! That's my kind of president!!! This man is the ONLY candidate that I have seen that has out right spoken against BIG GOVERNMENT and declared to trim it down a bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWfIhFhelm8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7d_e9lrcZ8 This is Important. Please answer! Please watch the videos before responding. Who YOU elect will be YOUR destiny!!! For those of you who do not understand our tax system: Our income tax does not go to governmental funding the only thing it goes toward is repayment of Governmental debt from borrowing money from the Federal Reserve. Without the Federal Reserve we would not owe interest because we would not be borrowing money from the World Bankers and other countries. So income taxes DOES NOT fund war etc....It only pays back what WE borrow from the Federal Reserve.... Kacy H: If everyone would really read on Ron Paul like you have I would not have to ask a question like this. Most of these answers against Ron Paul are uninformed answers that are bluntly obvious. I hope these people will wake up and really read on Ron Paul before making the biggest mistake of their voting careers. Ron Paul is for the Constitution and all within it. You are Informed and thats a great thing to know!!! NO to the NWO.... jessisbeautiful: Touche my friend. Good Answer!! http://chaoticfreedoms.blogspot.com/2007/08/high-office-of-president-has-been-used.html

- his stance on civil and women's rights isn't favorable to some. but I'd still vote for him.
- Even better than merely speaking against big government, he has aways VOTED against big government. He gets my vote.
- He's a Republican, right? That's why I wouldn't vote for him.
- I will be voting for Ron Paul. I will physically write his name on the ballot if it's not on it. I'm sick to death of people telling me that a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Hillary Clinton. They said the same thing when Ralph Nader would have been a better choice than Bush! -- When people realize that they are supposed to vote for the candidate that best represents them and not the lesser of two evils, maybe we'll finally have a leader we can respect.
- That is your OPINION and just like butt holes, EVERYONE has one. Freedom to choose who you want to vote for is the greatest thing ever!
- he's against gay rights, gay adoption, no to don't ask don't tell, no gay marriage, no gay civil unions, no to abortion, blah blah blah. no matter how you spin it,( i.e. state's rights), blah - he voted NO.
- I like Ron Paul, he says things that make politicians cringe, and how could anyone not like that but Obama, Kucinich, maybe Hillary ~ are all also interesting candidates what would really be nice if more than 40% of the country votes, and we could get a real idea of what kind of leadership we want I'd like to see us get rid of Dems and Republicans ... and legitamize more political parties so we have better choices
- What's up with all the Ron Paul people on this website?
- I won't vote for him because his ideas are not applicable to our economy and the economy of the world and I believe they would lead to the collapse of our economy. I'm all in favor of income tax. Without it many things that our government does for us would not be possible. Such as roads and public services. Of course these organizations aren't perfect and could be improved but they are necessary. Also, even if he was president he wouldn't be able to do such things. Neither Congress nor the Supreme Court would let him.
- That's a great idea!! I mean while were at it let's end world hunger and we can have peace and make the world a better place!!! Get real is this guy running for president or Miss America? Don't believe all the bull this guy's feeding you cause I'll guarentee it's all lies. Besides those are actually terrible ideas. They will ultimately end to the demise of this country. We don't need to cut taxes, we need to stop borrowing money to pay off our debts and stop deficit spending. Besides since when is income tax illegal? What do you think you'll get a free ride? Stop thinking about yourself and look at the bigger picture.
- i vote for whoever alex jones tells me to vote for.
- Ron Paul has said that he would support a gradual switch from the current income tax to a lower federal sales tax. Paul believes in decreasing the size of federal government. He supports the gradual abolition of the income tax, most Cabinet departments and the Federal Reserve.[50] Paul's campaign slogan for 2004 was "The Taxpayers' Best Friend!'".[51] As Congressman, Paul has asserted that Congress had no power to impose a direct income tax and supports the repeal of the 16th Amendment.[53] Paul has signed a pledge not to raise taxes or create new taxes, given by Americans for Tax Freedom.[54] Paul has also been an advocate of Employee-owned corporations (ESOP).[55] In 1999, he co-sponsored a bill titled The Employee Ownership Act of 1999 which would have created a new type of employee owned and controlled corporation (EOCC). This new type of corporation would have been exempt from most federal taxes.
- It would be great to eliminate the income tax. However, how would we replace the funding? Things like wars, national security, Medicare, interstates, and law enforcement all cost money. Does he intend to also eliminate these "services". I can easily not vote for Dr. Ron Paul. He is not a serious candidate, so he is free to support any policy that he thinks will get him attention without having any accountability. Third parties always sound great. They do not have to deal with the give and take negotiations and compromises that are required to run a government.
- Wolf, how can you not like his stance on civil rights? He is wanting to give us back our constitutional rights and civil liberties that have been stolen from us in recent years. End the wire tapping/ survelence, end the imprisionment of american citizens without charges, end big brother watching our every move..... Nick, educate yourself about our current income tax. 100 percent of our income tax, goes to pay interest on money borrowed from the private corporation called the federal reserve. Our streets, are taken care of by the $0.40 per gallon gas tax. Schools = Property Tax. Social Security & Medicare have their own tax seperate from income tax. Watch the movie: http://therealnewsjunkies.ning.com/video/video/show?id=859527:Video:4348 which has a long list of all the different taxes we are faced with daily such as the following: Accounts receivable tax Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) Building permit tax Capital gains tax CDL license tax Cigarette tax Corporate income tax Court fines (indirect taxes) Dog license tax Estate Tax Excise tax Federal income tax Federal unemployment tax (FUTA) FICA tax Fishing license tax Food license tax Fuel permit tax Gasoline tax (42 cents per gallon) Generation Skipping Tax Gift tax Hunting license tax Inheritance tax interest expense (tax on the money) Inventory tax IRS interest charges (tax on top of tax) IRS penalties (tax on top of tax) Liquor tax Local income tax Luxury taxes Marriage license tax Medicare tax Property tax Real estate tax Recreational vehicle tax Road toll booth taxes Road usage taxes (Truckers) Sales tax and equivalent use tax School tax Septic permit tax Service charge taxes Social Security tax State income tax State unemployment tax (SUTA) Telephone federal excise tax Telephone federal, state and local surcharge taxes Telephone federal universal service fee tax Telephone minimum usage surcharge tax Telephone recurring and non-recurring charges tax Telephone state and local tax Telephone usage charge tax Toll bridge taxes Toll tunnel taxes Tourist development tax Traffic fines (indirect taxation) Trailer registration tax Transfer tax and Generation-skipping transfer tax Utility taxes Vehicle license registration tax Vehicle sales tax Watercraft registration tax Well permit tax Wheel tax Workers compensation tax There are enough taxes there to cover the essential services our government provides. We managed over 150 years without an income tax & without the federal reserve. If we eliminate the banking cartel that puts our tax dollars into the hands of private bankers, we can eliminate the need to pay so much in interest to those private banks. America can do everythign the federal reserve does.. without having to borrow the money from the private banks. Thanks to the media brainwashing over the past 50 years, People are now ASKING for the same things Hitler FORCED on german citizens.... National ID cards for example... Invasions of other countries for conquest, (or to just put in a new governemnt that we can control.) Mass murder of people with different views than ourselves.. (look up the iraq civilian death count. some records show it over 600,000.) not to mention thousands of deaths in other countries where we supply weapons and money to both sides of the war, to allow them to kill themselves off.... He is the only one who wants to stop the North American Union.. You know.. the little thing that bush signed back in 2005, that will end america as we know it... uniting the states with mexico and canida to create one monitary system called the amero. Plans will be rolled out by 2010. And no media is really talking about it, other than Lou Dobbs... (thanks again media for ignoring the destruction of our country.) The tyrany of this government must end. No other canidate wants to give us back our country... to turn power back over to the state and local governments AS OUR CONSTITUTION WAS DESIGNED TO DO.... "Tyranny is not a matter of minor theft and violence, but of wholesale plunder, sacred and profane, private or public. If you are caught committing such crimes in detail you are punished and disgraced; sacrilege, kidnapping, burglary, fraud, theft are the names we give to such petty forms of wrongdoing. But when a man succeeds in robbing the whole body of citizens and reducing them to slavery, they forget these ugly names and call him happy and fortunate, as do all others who hear of his unmitigated wrongdoing." [Republic 344a-c, H.D.P. Lee translation, Penguin Books, 1955, p.73.] Ron Paul, is doing what no other canidate is trying to do.... Give the power back to the people, and end the tyranny of our current government...Before it is too late..
- i agree with you 100%- I read the answers of people who dont want him - and they really have no idea who they are talking about its like they heard it on a radio talk show and are on automatic repeat- especially the ones who say he isnt for the civil rights -they really really need to watch some ron paul videos so they at least have a concept of where he stands - on all of the issues -
- Well for one thing he is a republican, and therefore associated with Bush. Also, he doesn't have a lot of support, so most porlyinformed voters, don't know of him.
- Uh huh. Lets dump every government program to the state level. Then let's watch the smaller, poor states go to hell in a hand basket. Who is going to pay for schools, fire departments, police, new roads, bridges etc? All of these are federally subsidized. The people who are not dirt poor will be taxed into oblivion and it will still not be enough. He may have voted against big government but has voted for big business. Everyone needs to reads his stances and his voting record carefully.
- Because non Americans cant vote in your elections!! Not everyone here is from America!! Good luck to your candidate
- I will vote for him because I watched this film. http://zeitgeistmovie.com/
- ...Anyone who WANTS their vote to go to someone who has any chance of winning... :)
- No, I will not vote for Ron Paul. He thinks he can parse the Constitution. The Constitution is the basis for are government, but I doubt the Paul has read the entire document.
- Ron Paul is a virtual unknown.........he doesn't have a chance.
- For those of you who are saying his ideas won't benefit the economy, your absolutely false... Our country is sinking into debt... He is the only one who plans to decrease the national debt.. not just by inflaton.. His ideas match those of Kennedy's, so what are you saying one of the most beloved presidents who wasn't part of the illumnati was crazy as well? JFK had plans to abolish the Federal Reserve system. He wanted to use United States Notes, and he signed a presidential document, called Executive Order 11110, on June 4, 1963. This gave JFK, as U.S. President, legal clearance to create true money, that would belong to the people, and eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank, and their false money. Kennedy had already begun issuing U.S. government money that was free of debt to replace the Federal Reserve dollars we have been using. A number of "Kennedy bills" were indeed issued - with the heading "United States Note", instead of "Federal Reserve Note" - but were quickly withdrawn after Kennedy's death. Records show that Kennedy issued $4,292,893,825 of true money. It was clear that Kennedy was out to eliminate the criminal Federal Reserve System. The day after Kennedy's assassination, all the United States notes which Kennedy had issued were called out of circulation. All of the money President Kennedy had created was destroyed, and not a word was said to the American people. Ron Paul truly wants to look out for the best interest of the people.. I really don't understand why anyone wouldn't vote for him, but then again I don't understand why people in this country voted twice for Bush.. you'll be sorry when the next corporate sponsered democrat or republican, doesn't matter.. wants to sucker you out of money...
- Easy, I never voted for an idiot before and I'm not going to start now especially with Rue Paul! Oh and all of your youboob and blog links is only hurting you and your cause.
- Ron Paul is Racist! I have read about him long time ago. I used to read his writings from way back and he is a Nazi sympathizer.
- Ron Paul's stance on foreign policy is dangerous for the US. Now more than ever do we need to be as invovled as possible with countries that are thriving for nuclear weapons. If people are still doubting Iran is only after power, well, those people need help!
- I totally agree with you. It amazes me that so many people do not do any research before electing 1 person into so much power. You are correct when you say that whom ever we vote for is our destiny. I only hope that at least the people who answer your question, has the smartness to listen to the links you've left. Anyone who takes out the time to listen to the good Dr. always winds up supporting him. I wonder why {sarcasm}???
- "Our nation's first revenue raising Act was "...in a certain sense a second Declaration of Independence; and by a coincidence which could not have been more striking or more significant, it was approved by President Washington on the fourth day of July, 1789." [See, Twenty Years of Congress, James G. Blaine, 1884, Vol. 1, page 185] James Madison, in discussing this Act before Congress identified a fundamental principal concerning the power delegated to Congress to lay and collect taxes: "...a national revenue must be obtained; but the system must be such a one, that, while it secures the object of revenue it shall not be oppressive to our constituents." The Act went on to imposed taxes, not on Congress' constituents, but on specific "goods, wares, and merchandise, imported into the United States", and not one dime was raised under the Act by internal taxation! Internal taxes were frowned upon by the Founders, especially when a national revenue could be had by requiring foreigners to pay for the privilege of doing business on American soil!" - John William Kurowski, Founder Of The American Constitutional Research Service Before the Committee on Ways and Means, United States House of Representatives, June 1995 ( http://usafoundingfathers.blogspot.com/2006/03/founding-fathers-original-tax-plan.html ) "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs."--Thomas Jefferson "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." Thomas Jefferson, Letter 1802 to Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin "Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government's institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers" -- Congressional Record 12595-12603 -- Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency (12 years) June 10, 1932 "A great industrial nation is controlled by it's system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world--no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men." --President Woodrow Wilson See also: http://www.freedomdomain.com/bankquot.html
- How can you not vote for him? Easy! He will not be nominated. Anyone who uses UTube to back up an argument is just the kind of person to support Paul. Anyone who is serious cannot honestly believe that he could influence anyone to follow his pie in the sky Utopia. Doubt me if you want, but check his record in congress: Lowest attendence rate at voting. 336 bills introduced to committe, 3 made it out, none passed. You like to say he will replace this or that. Hardly. He could not get congressional approval on anything. YOU need to learn the system.
- easy and No one I know is going to vote for Ron Who.
- Easy... he won't be on the ballot
- I cant wait to laugh when Dr. Paul gets the Republican nomination in a few months once all the other GOP hacks have been exposed as double-talking CFR members with hidden agendas and voting and policy records contradictory to their views. Giuliani - Never did anything of value except be lucky enough to be mayor of NYC during 9/11. Even the Firefighters are calling him a liar. He wouldnt even be a candidate if not for 9/11. Romney - Practicing mormon with enough money to bus in retarded people to vote for him during the Iowa Straw Poll. Nuff said. Thompson - Does anyone actually know his VIEWS? Seems to me he's just an actor (familiar face) hoarding money that he doesnt have to declare the origins of while never actually saying anything other than smoke and mirrors. He will join the race after all the other candidates have debated so he doesnt actually have to risk being exposed and embarrassed on national tv by real politicians. The sheeple never cease to amaze me with this Thompson stuff. McCain - Wasnt this guy supposed to be a front runner? Seems like he's broke, quiet and about to quit anyway. The GOP also-rans - Some half decent candidates like Huckabee and Brownback who are already starting to steal Dr. Paul's views for themselves. They dont have the grassroots support or the money left to stay in the race for very long and will be distant memories in February. Dr. Ron Paul is the only candidate of substance whose voting record reflects his views. Honesty on Capitol Hill? Wow! Thats a new technique and I guess people are so used to corporate sponsored empty suits that it's hard to believe. But its true! www.ronpaul2008.com
- It's real simple, a vote for Dr. Paul is a vote to keep the words of the original Constitution, and the wisdom it contains alive. Supporting any other candidate at this time is a step towards "The Dark Ages" for the future of America. {Hint: religious wars raged for 600 odd years in the dark ages.} ****************************************************
- because people are clueless, and when they turn on the tv, the media is deciding for them, so if Ron Paul is not mentioned, in their world, he doesn't exist, and if they do hear him speak, i don't know how they don't automatically get turned on to him. People must hate the constitution, otherwise i can't fathom it either.
