- And he'd be amazing if he could get it on the war.
- People are so sick of the usual politicians, Ron paul is a breathe of fresh air.
- Ron Paul is the BEST candidate in 2008! an honest man with a conscience...i don't know if america is ready for an honest man do you? The war is obviously over oil, why do people keep defending it?
- RP reminds me of a senile uncle I had, no chance in hades he's going to get anywhere near the Oval office
- I actually agree with Paul on many issues, but there is no way he would win the GOP nomination let alone the Presidency. People aren't ready for an instant and sudden overhaul. Additionally, although he has many ideas he talked as though as President he could just unilaterally make changes. What about the Constitution? The President doesn't make the laws, he enforces them and carries them out. Paul is definitely an independant/libertarian/constitutionalist more than he is a Republican, at least what a Republican has become in the last few decades. It's a shame we can't have more than the two parties on a ticket, because he would be a great contender then, but as a Republican I just don't think he's going to make it. (I'm actually a Democrat whose just looking at this objectively).
- Ron Paul doesn't have a chance in Hades of getting the nomination. He's just too "out there" for average Americans. I saw him on Bill Maher a couple of weeks ago and I came away with the impression that's he a little bit of a nutjob.
- He was alright... But he is not the next President. My vote will go for Fred Thompson
- It's funny. So many people agree with Ron Paul, but they are going with this theory of "he can't when so I'll vote for one of the other candidates just to make sure we beat the Democrats." Anyone with this attitude is a piece of crap, and a bad American. Here's the thing, THIS MIGHT BE THE LAST CHANCE TO SAVE AMERICA! The mainstream Democrats and Republicans want to take away the rights of the citizens, and make the federal government bigger. That is very dangerous. There is a reason we fought King George. Please, don't vote tyranny, vote Ron Paul.
- Yeah, he came across very well during the debate. I think only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney improved their position at the debate. Let's see how the next debate goes, but I think he's got a solid chance. Romney seems too wishy-washy for me. I can never figure out what position he's taken on any issue.
